This is excellent soap and tie with the Whole Foods Vitamin E soap I used for years, but the Whole Foods soap has become difficult to find. Upfront I can tell you that I really don’t like the smell of the other Pears products but I do very much like this one. It’s a bit allspice or clove scented. It smells great while using and then the fragrance quickly fades. The Pearls also lathers better than the Whole Foods soap, so potentially cleans better. It also doesn’t get water logged and separate like some other glycerin soaps. I like that this Pears soap is easily available and is reasonably priced for such a luxury positioned product. Honestly, I really can’t think of anything this soap doesn’t do that I’d want it to do. Is it perfect? Maybe—as long as you like the light fragrance.

Very refreshing after bathing and clean afterwards feeling

Pears soap is an amazing wonderful brand that originated in England (unfortunately bought out by Unilever now) but it has stayed original and is over 200 years old formula. So when you get the soap, you will notice it’s a different fragrance than you are used to. Can you believe that Pears soap was more than likely on the Titanic? A little piece of history!. It is glycerin based soap so be prepared. It will be slippery and can and will slip out of your hand a lot to the shower floor. This soap has been rated very highly on channels that rate products that are best for healthy skin for the family, both young and old. Actually discovered it on a health channel and came over here to search on Amazon. (Please note it is not recommended for use by vegans.) Love it, it lathers beautifully which is rare for glycerin based bar soap. If you do the math, each bar of soap is just over $2 so depending on the region you live it is either a little higher or a little lower than your average crochet market or drugstore soap. Well worth it.

Lots to love about this soap. I really enjoy the silky soft lather I work up with my African net sponge. It is non-greasy but feels like I’m pampering my skin. I definitely noticed an improvement in the overall feel and moisture after using it. It smells lovely and I much prefer this scent to the original amber colored bar, though that isn’t bad. My only problem is the longevity, which is the same with all the scents. Because it’s glycerine it doesn’t last nearly as long as other soaps, even when kept out of direct water spray. I keep mine in a draining soap dish on the edge of my tub outside the curtain and just with daily use I can use up a bar within 3-4 weeks depending on the time of year. Sometimes I need a cool shower at night if temps are high. I wish it lasted longer but such is the tradeoff for a soap I enjoy. Before this I hadn’t used bar soap in almost 20 years and this is the only bar soap I will buy. I’ve repurchased it many times and will continue to as long as the formula stays the same.

With the closing of so many health and beauty stores. I am prone to different types of topical allergic reactions and I’ve had a difficult time finding this soap. It is completely non irritating for me. I use it for body wash as well as to wash my hair. Leaves my long hair clean and ready to accept my hair conditioner A++

Pears soap has been a favorite for a long time, and it never disappoints. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean without that tight, dried-out feeling you get from other bar soaps. It's very mild, has a lovely subtle scent, and works perfectly for sensitive skin. The pure glycerin formula is fantastic

Pears glycerine soap was used on me 80+ years ago when I was a baby and has been used by me ever since. As it's an English product and I was British, I wouldn't use anything else! Also, for someone with sensitive skin it's great. You can't go wrong with using this mild soap.

Conosco questa saponetta da almeno 25anni e quando viaggiavo parecchio per lavoro all’estero non tornavo mai a casa senza scorta! E’ il mio sapone da viaggio, lascia la pelle morbida senza seccarla ed è ottima anche per il viso. Il prezzo su Amazon è decisamente alto ( costa molto meno e si trova normalmente nei supermercati esteri ) ma la acquisto per portarla in vacanza , eliminando così almeno due flaconi di prodotti.
