Got these for my husband who weld! You can use on all sorts of materials, wood, metal, etc lots of led in each one

Have seen these used, and figured I'd try them. Works alot better than trying to use a marker or soap stone.

Easy to use mechanical pencil right out the box!!! Hold it like a pen, and it sticks to steel just like soap stone!!!! It is very brittle though, so you have to be very careful with it! It’s a decent value for the money, but honestly, it’s a little cheaper and more efficient to just use soap stone, although this is a really cool little pin!!!

If I never would have used a different brand I'm sure I would have thought these were okay. However, I've used the Markal brand And when you compare these to those it's not even the same. The refill material is harder and does not Mark with a deep rich color like the Markal does. They're also different size and they will not interchange. If you're serious about fabrication, go with the Markal Silver-Streak. In the picture that I took, I drew a squiggly line with all three using the same amount of pressure. You have to push incredibly hard with these off-brand ones to get a similar dark line color and half the time it'll break the filament.

This tool is a must for welding. It glows when welding and that helps a lot. The quality, functionality, ease and softness is what I need.

Great idea. But whatever they use for the “lead”, or the marking material doesn’t do much other than flake off. Won’t stay on pipe, turns to dust basically. Easily removed just by blowing the mark off

Not overly happy happy with the pencils. Faint black lead, and not so good red lead. breaks easily when pressure is applied. Pencil itself is cheap flimsy quality

Porte-mine bien fait mais un peu léger et on sens la production de masse. Aucun défaut mais je ne sais pas si ça va tenir longtemps dans un atelier. Les mines arrivent sans être cassées👍Mais en réalité, c’est un pousse-mine et souvent la mine se casse! Pour le reste, je recommande ce produit mais il faut y faire attention!

The pencils worked great until they started to fall apart. Where all the points on the pencil were put together they loosened off and won’t stay together now

They don’t write on steel as compared to soap stone in the ad which is far better than these pencil in my opinion lead sucks the sharpening cap hardly works and it breaks super disappointing and will be returned for sure.
