Long walk comfort
I am writing this review while ordering another two pair of the Damyan shoes. I bought the shoes specifically for walking. I take walks daily for exercise averaging 30 miles per week. The shoes are the most comfortable I have ever owned. I completed an over 9 mile walk with no foot pain at all. I ordered two more pair for the future just to make sure I will have these in the line up.

Like Living In An Apartment With Thin Walls
This pair was lightweight. They fit. But they also 'married' -- matter-of-fact, no excuses, no apologies -- the surface of the earth as they stepped. I don't mean they 'caressed' what they touched. I mean needy, dependent spouse. They just relayed what the soles hit right onto the bottom of the foot inside the shoe, inside the sock. Why not go barefoot? Well, this is cleaner . . .

More durable than expected
As a cook, I wear out shoes very quickly; a few months is typical. I have had these for a few months already and they show no signs of wear. Over the years I've tried and worn out expensive shoes, cheap shoes, steel-toed work boots, combat boots,... and so far these are doing better than everything else. Being cheap and good I will definitely buy them again.They're very light and airy which is nice in that aspect but they also let water in very easily. Cool feet, but stay out of the water unless you want wet feet.
