Do you use one stick after each potty use?

I actually used half of a stick with an absorbing liner too. It was perfect for one person overnight with several overnight potty breaks. I did not want to go to the outhouse at night while I was camping lol. Without using the extra absorbing liner one stick should be fine for several potty breaks. It’s best to try it before you actually are camping so you can figure out how much you need at a time.

Does it help with poop?

The gelling powder is used on poo to eliminate odor and used to absorb the urine or liquid waste. A must-have for your camping essentials/boat accessories.

I use a 5 gallon bucket that I take to my compost pile every few days. Can I still put this in my compost?

I would not use this in compost pile. It’s scented and I have no idea how it breaks down. Maybe email the company

How does it come out of a portable toilet if it gels up?

My portable toilet is used with plastic bag liners with an absorbent pad much like a diaper works to absorb. And I add this powder too so that bag can hold more liquid. This is not to be used in a composting or other type portable potty. Just the kind where a plastic bag liner is used
