Fine looking piece when finished. Instructions were fairly easy to follow. Good design, never needed any glue for loose fitting pieces. Wish it did more than seconds & minutes but, how much can you get out of a rubber band drive mechanism? Lol. Wish they used a spring for the drive. Overall, buy it. You will enjoy watching it operate. Just don't wind it to tight! Lol

Couldn't get it to run properly
Liked the way it assembled. I'm still trying to get it to run properly. The display box the clock comes packaged in was badly damaged. All four corners were broken and some of the bracing inside. I had to make corners, glue them in, and paint them. Then glue the broken bracing inside.

These are fun to build but the price is to high on some of these

Fun to build but description is not accurate
Description says it will run for a while and has a minutes and hours hand. It's actually a minute and seconds hand and runs for a few minutes.It is fun to build though and satisfying to watch. I would still buy it again but needs to be updated to be accurate. The construction is a lot more sturdy than some other wood kits I've done.

Unforgiving
Don’t make any mistakes! Even with the included tool, popping out one piece broke/splintered another and the dominoes began to fall!

Nice model
It’s a beautiful kit, but the design is flawed. Step 9 on page 21 says to pull apart the rear arms to install the rear wheel. I tried to and it broke off totally. I included a pic where it broke. I had to use gorilla glue. Also it uses one rubber band as the motor, this kit isn’t worth 80 dollars. I also had to glue the rear wheel together. None of the parts on this kit fit tight at all. The wooden box it came in was nice though. Update- I finished the model and realized there was a sheet of spare parts so I think they know things break during assembly. The motorcycle looks really nice too. The one rubber band design works as intended.
