great golf gps option, even for small wrists
Works great, was a bargain at $265 compared to its original $500 price tag. At some places it's $250 or less, but I appreciate the Amazon return policy in case something's wrong with it. Battery life is sufficient, way better than the Samsung Active 2 that I was wearing before, not enough for 36h most likely, but I only play 9 or 18 so it's fine. Super comfortable, non-gps battery life is several days, always on display and easy to read in daylight, using it as my everyday watch now. Used to carry around a garmin g80 on the course in my pocket which was annoying; now I have less crap in my pockets, and since its on the wrist it's a lot more accessible for reviewing yardages, entering club data and strokes, etc. I have a tiny lady wrist, 6" circumference, and I worried how the watch would fit but it's fine. The band is comfy, I'm on the 4th hole on the strap from the smallest setting, the strap doesn't make my skin break out, it's a little big but it's passable, just looks like a big outdoorsy fitness watch. Has all the golf functions anyone could wish for:plays like distances, touch targeting and hole overview and flag positioning, club distance tracking and automatic swing sensing, scorecard function, compass for blind shots, relatively accurate measurements, compiles performance stats. If you really play 36h regularly then the S62 might be worth the $500, but for the rest of us mere mortals that play 9h or 18h this S60 is a great half-cost option with nearly all the same functionality.

Don't let the bad reviews fool you...
Outstanding watch in all aspects. I've been using it as an everyday watch for about a month and love it. I see a lot of negative reviews so I'll try to address common complaints:Pairing - once you download the Garmin Connect app it's a breeze, no issues here.Directions - true, they don't come with the watch, but are easy to find on Garmin's website. I found them very helpful, and easy to read.Functionality - some have had trouble using it. If you don't consider yourself mildly tech savvy, this watch has too much horsepower for you. There are several screens and almost endless options, which could overwhelm some. Everything is customizable - you can turn features on and off. If all you need is front/middle/back distances this is a bit of overkill.Battery - in GPS mode it is average, very good in watch mode. There are many options to save on battery life.Software - updates when you sync with the Garmin Connect app, no issues with black bars some have mentioned.Price - sure it's not cheap, but considering the fact that you can wear it as an everyday watch, the endless features: swing tempo, shot tracking, stat tracking, step tracking, sleep, biking, swimming, walking, running, etc. you might be able to justify the cost.Bottom line: this is the best golf watch out there with all the bells and whistles, go for it!

Great Watch... can be a little confusing - Very Accrate
This is a great watch. Haven't had a smart watch since the original Pebble watch. I was using an app on my phone for Golf but I was always jealous of my buddies when they could just look at their wrist and get distances instantaneously! The Approach S60 delivers on the course. I've used it on several courses in different states and so far, no issues with accuracy. I have had some quirks where it appears to have skipped a hole but I think it might have been something I did unknowingly. Last few rounds have been dead on! I love that you can get your distances after each round. I don't take a lot of practices swings (hardly any) so I'm sure that contributes to the accuracy but it tracks ever tee shot and every approach/chip shot I make. While you can use the watch in a simple mode (track shots automatically, keep your own score) there are a bunch of more detailed settings you can employ and in my opinion, it's gets cumbersome to use with the little screen (i.e. keeping score for multiple golfers).Battery life seems adequate. When I'm not golfing, I get at least 10 days. It does have a proprietary charging cord so if you purchase, you may want an extra one. It has no problem getting through a round of 18 (yesterday, I started at 98% and finished with 59% battery life - Round was 3:58).One Gripe I have are the watch faces (and the connect store). I download a watchface, install and sync. and then randomly the watchface will disappear completely and the stock watchface returns. A sync does not solve the issue. I have to go back to the store, download again and sync to restore the watchface I want. A small annoyance, but an annoyance just the same.Pros:-Waterproof-Reasonable Battery Life-Accurate for Golf-Seems durable-Notifications are customizeable (texts, FB, Etc.)-Doubles as a fitness trackerCons:-Can be finicky, occasionally confusing for tracking activities-No Heart Rate Monitor-Store has limited offerings-Proprietary charger and operating system-Band is thin (though has held up well so far).
