Q: Is this product safe to take while breastfeeding?

If you eat can, jar, packaged, frozen, fast, or convenient type foods EVER than it shouldn’t matter. They all have chemicals that can disrupt hormones on a normal person and definitely a fetus. This is a veggie alternative to whey (hormone laden and not digested well by humans) and has added vitamins, amino acids and minerals. I would use this product pregnant or not. Obviously barring a lawsuit you should check with a medical professional preferably a naturopath or progressive medical care practitioner.

Q: Why is this product so ridiculously overpriced lately? It used to be around $45-$50.

The Original Chocolate flavor is $53.09. Much like many products, the prices will vary based on the differences of the products.

Q: is this good for a meal replacement?

Plain protein powder is not an effective meal replacement. You can either purchase a product that's specifically a meal replacement shake or else mix this in with a smoothie containing other ingredients.

Q: Is this pretty chocolatey? What is the consistency like? I like more of a thicker texture. Thx.

It's one of the tastier vegan protein powders I've had. It's not as tasty and the consistency isn't that of Vega, but what is? I don't know what the hell you mean about a thick texture. Use Almond Milk instead of water to thicken it up. Better yet, buy the one pound version and when you don't like it, send it to me.
