Works flawlessly with Windows 10 and CHIRP
This is the second programming cable I've bought on Amazon for my new Yaesu FT-60R. The first was a cheaper Prolific chip based one that simply did not work for uploading to the radio. I tried everything I could find on Google, and no luck. It's going back.This cable, on the other hand, was truly plug and play. It looks like a real FTDI cable. I plugged the cable in, Windows configured it as COM 8, started up CHIRP, downloaded from the radio, added a repeater, uploaded to the radio, disconnected the radio from the cable, went to memory mode on the radio, and saw the edit I made in CHIRP had been uploaded to the radio.This is the way things are supposed to work!

Works for Yaesu FT-60R.
Works great for programming my Yaesu FT-60R. Can download and upload data just fine. The first time I plugged it in, I had to manually install the driver in the device manager as it was shown as an unknown device. However, using the search for the driver online option worked.

had to wiggle the cable to even get anything to happen. even then I got error on the radio. returned
