Shirts with detailing used to be easier to find; this is not embroidery but looks like it. I first ordered a Small (5-4" and 115 pounds) but returned it for a Medium which feels better. It is 100% cotton and surprised me in that It is very comfortable, not scratchy, the sleeves were long enough and did not shrink, and it washed nicely on perm press with gentle spin and then hanging to dry. No problems with either the buttons or buttonholes. I was happy enough with this one to chance ordering the pink shirt. That color ships directly from the company though, and that makes me nervous in case of a problem. I'll update when I receive it.Update: I ordered the same size (M) in pink, and it is really big. I like the color and will be ordering it in Small.I also purchased the Vintage Black with brown buttons in Medium, and it fits just fine. The buttonholes are well made, the sleeves are plenty long, and I am quite happy with it. The brown buttons are a nice touch and make it look less casual. I like the quality of this shirt and tried to leave feedback, but for some reason Amazon is not showing this item on my feedback list. It makes a difference which variation of this shirt you buy, not only in sizing but also in quality. I got the Jordy Blue/Lagoon Blue, and it is terrible quality. They are all 100% cotton, but this one feels thinner. The buttonholes are awful; this shirt looks like a practice piece by a beginning seamstress. If this had been the first shirt I bought, I never would have bought any of the other variations.

So I returned a pink shirt in a size small and reordered a medium in the Almond. I'm just under 5'4" and approximately 115 lbs. The pink shirt was cute but sort of snug. The faded areas were too extreme for me. The almond in size medium is PERFECT! I love it! Size is true to my actual size. Even the arm length is great. I highly recommend it! Yay!

The only thing I didn't like is the button holes were a little thready and the buttons got caught. If they were improved it would be 5 stars.

Okay, first of all, I ordered this shirt in the tan/brown color & this dark denim. From reading reviews I couldn’t decide what size to order, so I ordered them both in a XXL & 3X. The dark blue denim 3X fit like a double breasted blazer. However the XXL fit perfect.The Brown XXL was too small across the chest (returning) & the 3X also fit like a double breasted blazer.I decided to order a second XXL in the brown to see if it will fit… we’ll see.Remember, these are machine cut in stacks by the hundreds and items shift. Then the sleeves, buttons & pockets are sewn on, and lastly the trim on the edges.

Pros: Light weight fabric that means it can be worn 3 out of 4 seasons.Real buttons and button holes ( I hate when buttons are sewn on for decoration)Good shirttail length. I am 5'9" but I was easily able to tie this at the waist for a casual look.The upper arms are a really good fit, not too big and not too small.Cons: If wearing in the winter I would layer it over or under.

This denim button down is made of great lightweight material, fits true to size. Wanted a denim that was not thick/chunky feeling. This one is light, great to wear over another top. Color was true to the picture as well. I have worn and washed it and it did not shrink. I will be ordering another one in a different shade as well!

After reading all of the confusing reviews regarding sizing on these shirts, I have some pertinent information to pass on. First, I am 5’5” and weigh about 170, 36-38 bust. I ordered the brown shirt and the medium blue shirt both in large. I received them today and this is my experience: the light blue shirt fits nicely, not loose, which is what I wanted. The blue shirt is a lot more lightweight than the brown, not flimsy, well made but lighter weight. The brown is a little loose and a medium weight. Both of these are not looong as some reviews made them sound, they are what I would call a normal length, right around the hip area. All this said, I love both of them and will probably get another color and may be surprised at what the outcome is. I’ve experienced different colors of clothing having weight and size differences (from Amazon) so I hope that this helps.

For me, it was the perfect fit and look and softness and thickness (meaning it was thin). Just what I wanted except the fading was so weird right down the front on each side. Unfortunately, I will have to return it and I can’t tell if the rest are faded the same way. I got the classic blue.

Been two months and have not received a refund for return also you have to pay shipping to receive and shipping to return. so make sure you’ve got the sizing right quality was OK but they fit small I usually wear a medium but in this I order the large size thinking so would be a little big it was too small

Soft light fabric. Very comfortable.

Item is way too small smells bad. Poor quality made in China.
