Worked great
This was my second round of fixing my Zenbook. The first time I was sloppy. This time I carefully removed all the old solder with wick, bought a brand new tip meant for this work for my iron, made sure it was securely soldered on all pins on both sides of the board, and double checked everything with an ohm meter, and a month or 2 later everything is still running great. Previous, sloppier work did not stand up to plugging, unplugging, and dropping my Zenbook and charging became intermittent. This time around it is still secure and firm and charges just fine.
