Great quality! The 2 acrylic plates barely warp, the metal shim is handy, the rubber die embossing mat and the magnetic mat are excellent. BTW you can cut into the magnetic mat -- Anna Griffin does. Bought these to have as spares as I have read that these consumables can often be difficult to source. Will order one more set for "just in case". Delivery was very slow, so plan ahead and order before you need them. Individual pieces are available on the Anna Griffin site but I prefer to buy the set. Glad the set is available on Amazon. UPDATE: I recently added the new AG Empress Elite to my work station, which comes with a set of Large plates/mats (2A+B+D) but did not include the C mat (for die embossing) that I really wanted. Fortunately a truly complete Large Full set (ie 2A+B+C+D) is available on Amazon. Perfect.

I use a lot of journaling/folder dies that are 12 to 16 inches long. These plates are absolutely perfect for cutting ALL of my oversized dies. LOVE the Anna Griffin Empress machine, plates, and accessories. Makes crafting and creating amazing projects sooooo much easier!! This plates are the real thing. Anna's website is out of stock on the Magnetic plates so I decided to pick up this set. Considering the wait for some Products on the Anna Griffin site plus the shipping charge, Amazon was the better choice for me. I really wish the individual plates were available throughout the year because I only need the second Magnetic plate to use a few of my oddball Embossing Plates. This set of plates arrived quickly and were well packaged. I sure appreciate the availability of these on Amazon. FYI, I called the Anna Griffin company to ask a question about the Mini Empress. I know, just considering... And I happened to bring up the long wait for out of stock plates on their site. The representative said that using a smaller Magnetic plate would also work in my regular Empress. I am waiting for some of the Mini Magnetic plates to arrive. They might be a suitable work around at $8.00 each. I purchased some. Shipping was $7.00. I love my Empress and enjoy using such a quiet machine. My Clear Plates, a year old, are original and still flat, really happy about that! But I am considering picking up additional plates when available because the company doesn't seem to stock them consistently through the year. I hadn't even considered Empress consumables being difficult to obtain when I chose the machine. It turns out to be an important factor. But I really like my Empress and it is a quality product I hope to use for many years. Thanks to Amazon, I know this full set of plates is another reliable option.

It was time to get new cutting plates for my Empress machine. The old ones came with the machine over 5 years ago so it was definitely time to replace!! I love these plates. So easy to use and they don’t warp easily.
