Tree Purse Hanger

A friend of mine whipped one of these out at a coffee date. It's one of those things that instantly impresses you as being such a simple and great idea that you wonder why no one had thought of it earlier. My second thought was, "Hey! My wife would love that!".I was right. My wife does love it. From a practical point of view, it means that her purse is no longer left on the floor or slung over the back of her chair, or laying elsewhere out of view. With this, it's hanging from the table and she positions it so that the purse is resting against the side of her leg.Additionally, it's a very pretty design. Her first reaction was, "wow... if I ever wanted a tattoo, that'd make a great tattoo!". The little carrying bag is attractive and the device folds flat so it takes up very little space in her purses, even her smallest purses.Like I said, "My Wife Loves It!"

I notice several other reviewers mentioning the same thing -- this isn't as pretty in person as it looks in the photo here. I don't think there's anything deliberately misleading about the photos. I think what's happening is in the picture it looks like and reminds us of one of those glass paperweights -- you know, the ones that are a bit rounded on the top and sort of iridescent in the light? Well, the reality is it's flat, plastic, and just okay. It does the job (unless you have a particularly thick table or a particularly massive purse). It's inexpensive and would make a nice little inexpensive gift for a coworker. It comes in a little gray and white drawstring pouch with a damask pattern on it, so even easier for gift giving and storing in your purse that way. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is due to the time it took to get to my house. 3 days later than estimated.However! I love this product and will buy more for other "germ-conscious" ladies I know. If you don't like putting your purse on the floor of a restaurant or any public place where a lot of shoes have been stepping - then get this. I use it for my smaller purses and it fits nicely in there. I got this type instead of the foldable ones because the reviews stated they broke easily. This one handles my purses nicely and no problems yet. Plus the picture is cute.

TRIED and TRUE! A co-worker gifted me one of these about three years ago. Didn't know I needed it 'til I began to use it. (lol) I usually leave it at work but it is small enough to travel and appears to be designed not to mar any surfaces (which it hasn't so far -3 years!). And the weight this thing holds! Omigoodness. It just doesn't matter how heavy my bag is! Just make sure whatever you are hanging FROM is solid/sturdy. I had also received a really pretty foldable model but it broke within five uses. This item has staying power. I'm getting this one as a travel buddy and will get more to gift.

Really great purchase. This is useful for 2 reasons: 1) As a door hanger for public bathroom stalls that have no hook and 2) To hang your purse from your table when eating out as there isn’t always an empty chair to lay your purse on, or your purse has small straps so it can’t hang from your chair and who wants to set their purse on a dirty floor?

I absolutely love the Purse Hanger. Silver Hooks through Amazon, provides EXCELLENT customer service and a great product for the value. I priced these elsewhere and could not find one under $20. These make great hostess gifts, stocking stuffers, birthday gifts...you name it. They come in their own carrying case and are handy whenever it is not convenient to hang your purse on the back of your chair. Everyone who sees it wants one for themselves. Why would I spend money on a delicious leather handbag just to put it on the dirty floor? Yuck. I bought this product after a weekend in Napa where I had to do exactly that. Because, how can I hold my bag when my hands are full of wine??Desperate for a solution, I promptly returned home and purchased this on Amazon. I use it religiously, and most of my friends have purchased one as well. When we go out to eat, we have had women approach us asking where they can get one of these too! Genius invention!My only complaint is that the hook doesn't fit over very thick or awkwardly shaped counters and tables.

Now my mom has concluded that this was a gift that works! She loves it because it slips in her small purse and came with a nice cover. The idea of having to have her purse on her lap made eating out hard and put on the floor under the tabel, no way.Or to place it on the back of her chair was a NO NO she said. You open yourself up to someone grabing it! This is what a retired police officer would say. Mom says it is very close to her and keeps it slightly to the side of her inner knee. It's a nice gift for anyone. Her friends love it also.
