First and foremost, numerous reviews of this product state how small it runs, which led me initially, and against all my better judgment, to order it in XL. Which was two sizes too big for me.Here's the truth: I'm 5'11, 175 lbs, size 30 waist and in shape. As a gay guy, I want a shirt that JUST fits me -- not one that's baggy and droopy in the arms and waist. I get that straight guys often want the opposite, so order accordingly. But the fact is, this shirt does NOT run small. It runs true-to-size, albeit in an athletic fit (broad shoulders, narrow waist). So if you normally wear a medium, athletic-fit shirt, then order a medium. If you wear a large, then order a large. And so forth. If you're a bigger guy, especially around the belly and waist, then this probably isn't the shirt for you.As for the shirt itself, it's fun. I ordered it for a David Bowie tribute concert in which I'm singing, and it's perfect for that. Super-shiny and metallic looking, but the material is soft and doesn't feel like it'll overheat me. Except for the misleading reviews, I'm very happy with it.

Runs super small. Order a size up. Very shiny and would have loved to have been able to wear this to the wedding as I had planned, but the material is like "pleather" and won't breathe. It might be short sleeved but if the temp. is above 75 degrees you probably won't be able to wear it.

Got this shirt for a theme party. Very shiny. Should wear a tshirt underneath so you don't sweat too much. Can't really wash it without damaging it. But it looks great. Got lots of compliments.

I'm a seamstress, and I swear this is a slightly thicker version of fabric than Walmart sold years ago. It's sticky and barely stretchy. Thin yet not at all breathable. AND it runs small so that makes it worse. It's really reflective/shiny though or it would have gotten a 1 star. If you're looking for something for quick pictures, do it just size up. If you're looking to wear it longer than an hour, I'd avoid.

One star because shipping was fast. The shirt looked like it was worn out. The gold was gone from the back of the shirt under the underarms, and on the sides, So disappointed. There was no other option but to return

Shirt fit pretty close to size! Maybe fits slightly smaller! But if maybe this shirt is made for not fat people?
