Yes, they could pass for dress pants. Our kids wear them to Catholic school and Mass.

No, these have elastic on the back. The waist size is same size to a regular pants. The only good thing is that can be pull down without unzipping or opening

Q: Whats the difference between husky & normal?

Husky is significantly bigger than normal sizes. It has bigger waist sizes, are wider in the legs. I got them for my granddaughter’s school uniforms, but they were way too big for her, when boy’s size 8’s fit her perfectly.
