I was not personally comfortable installing it so I hired someone to do it. When that person bailed on me, my Mom and I grew some courage and decided to install it ourselves. I watched a few youtube videos on how to install wall paper. I followed the instructions that came with the map, which were rolled into the map itself. I decided to let the glue stay for about 1hr instead of recommended 30min. I did let each panel sit with glue on it for 10min as recommended. Panels did not expand much even with a 10min wait. First panel took a while to position and each panel after that was easier and easier to install. By the time we came to the last panel, Mom and I were pros! Process from start to finish took us 5.5hrs. Installation requires a two person crew. You will need to visit the local hardware store for the tools and make sure you have lots of clean rags for whipping off excess glue. I did not cut the map to the size of the wall before hanging. I cur the corners after the map dried out. If I ever do this again, i would cut to size before hanging. Map covered the entire wall and it looks amazing. Everyone that walks into this room is has a "wow" expression on their face and immediately is drawn to the map. Through out this process I contacted the sellers and received prompt response.
