Looking for explosive top-water action??? This lure is the secret weapon!
The River2Sea Whopper Ploppers are the best in the business. Yeah, they are pricey compared to WalMart or other big box cheap sporting good stores...but when it comes to quality, hook sharpness, responsiveness, action, and overall strike to hook performance - they are in a class by themselves. The munky butt color is my go-to and i actually prefer the size of the 90 over the 110 for my local freshwaters in the mid-Atlantic. They work!

Great Product
Has an amazing action in the water , the noise it creates is far better than other cheap brands ive used! It holds up well cast after cast! My first cast with it out the package in a small pond and the sneak head were on it ! Great value for the money !

It works.
I had always heard that the Whopper Plopper was one of the most effective lures for bass fishing. So, I decided to try it out, though it seemed a little expensive. In found that in the right circumstances and season (where they are hitting top water), the Whopper Plopper lure really works. It is much better than various top water frog lures. I deal with bass fishing in a local creek and have used every kind of lure you could imagine. The bass in this creek are are cautious and not very excitable. The Whopper Plopper is one of the few lures I've used that will actually excite the bass and entice them to strike in the moment. It will also attract them from further distances with all the noise and wake. With my very first cast with it, I reeled in a decent size bass, just like that. The only down side is that I've noticed it does a little more damage to the fish than I'd prefer (I catch and release). The dual treble hooks are razor sharp and sometimes I find one hook in the mouth and one embedded in the body of the fish from thrashing, etc. Overall a great addition to your tackle box and I would recommend that all bass fishermen have at least one of these. It's now my go-to lure for top water situations.

It catches fish when other lures don't
As you can see from the picture, this lure catches big bass. My son and I started fishing this lure pretty heavily a year or two ago, it doesn't always draw the fish in but when it does, it's usually an epic day of fishing. If you want to see how we fish it, check out our YouTube channel, just search for "Colorado fishing and outdoors" on Youtube. Tips: - I've had the most luck with the perch color or loon (black with white dots) for Largemouth bass. - Try different retrieves. Sometimes the Bass like it to be cast out, sit for about 5 seconds then start reeling steady all the way back, sometimes they like it to be started and stopped multiple times, just depends on their mood. Pros - Seems to draw in large bass more often than not - Is extremely easy to fish for beginners or people wanting to just cover lots of water quickly - There are many different sizes that seem to work on different days. Try all of them, I've found some days the 90 or 110 won't work, but the 60 will, or vice versa. They all make different sounds/different pitch and are different sizes so it's nice to have some variation and the Bass seem to care, some days they are just keyed in on one size or sound. Cons - Doesn't come through cover very well unless you are very careful, will get hung up on grass/logs/anything the sharp trebles can grab.

Hard to beat the original!
Whopper Ploppers just work! Had a three pound small mouth go completely airborne borne to smash this thing! Hooks are deadly sharp and the lure is durable.
