DOES NOT FIT ALL SUVS!
This tent would have been absolutely perfect if it had in fact fit my 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander with 3rd row. My hatch opens too high for it and the straps for the top say to buckle it to the seatbelts if you don’t have a roof rack. The straps DO NOT reach and we had to leave them just shut in the door which allowed tiny gaps. It rained pretty good so the bottom part that wraps under the car had puddles. There was also some leakage through the side window zippers that caused puddles too. I would highly recommend a canopy over top if you plan on using this during the rainy days. The awning doubles as the door so if you use the awning, you have no coverage from people seeing inside your tent. All you have is a mesh door. We used the awning but had to rig a blanket in front of the door for privacy. Throw away the paper instructions and YouTube how to set up. The instructions said to put it on the car first….that was incorrect! It also does not tell you what all the poles are for or where they go, but YouTube did. I will continue to use this tent until it completely breaks but I will not purchase it again.

I don't have an SUV or mini-van...but this works well enough on my car
I did have to change the top section - how it attaches as my car does not have a roof rack, but I wanted one like this that attached to my car as I load up my trunk and like to head out for a weekend at nearby campgrounds when the weather is nice. I did have a regular tent, but I hated that it was separate from my car - where I have all my stuff! So I took a chance on this one and it works. May not work as well as if I had an SUV or mini-van, but I had no trouble attaching the bottom section to my tires and with the top section, I have those weather guards on all four of my car's windows - y'know, the ones that allow you to keep your windows cracked when it's raining without rain getting in the car. So I threaded the top straps in through the back windows and pulled the straps tight. Again, not as good a fit on my car as it would be on a larger vehicle, but it works. I have access to the stuff I've packed while inside this tent. I love the big screened openings and while this isn't a large tent, it works well for me when I want to go out for the weekend and enjoy nature. It was very easy to put up - even with my minor difference of having a car instead of a larger vehicle - and seems like a sturdy tent that will last me a long time. The bag it comes in is roomy and I had no problem getting it back into the bag when packing up. It's not a small bag, but even though I have a smaller car, it has a good-sized trunk that, even with this tent, still had plenty of room for cooler, cook stove, cot, etc. I would recommend it for one or two people - nice size for me!

Don't buy
Terrible product windows on the outside the canopy is connected to the door, everything touches so you're bound to take on water. Wouldn't waste the money. Couldn't return either too small of a window ordered in March used in April..

Missing awning poles
Set-up was ok. Instructions to put the tent together were pointless and didn’t make sense. I bought the version with the awning, yet received no poles to prop the awning up.

Fits Ford Expedition!
This tent is very will made, durable and attaches to the back of an SUV. I used it with my Ford expedition. And it fit easily and perfectly. This tent is sturdy and stable and stayed put all night, and it didn't leak even though it definitely rained while we were out there. It was super easy to put together. And 1 or 2 people can put it together in no time.! I love that it attaches to the back of the s u v so much more than traditional tents! It's got a huge entry door and a really nice sized awning that keeps you dry and gives you a little shaded porch area. Definitely a great product. Recommend.

Great concept. Awful quaility
I love this concept and tried so hard to like this tent. Right out of the box I knew it was going to be a problem. The proportions were a bit off, which is tolerable. Biggest issue is that it arrived damaged, with small cigarette burn looking holes in the roof area of the tent. It was also missing an eyelet for one if the horizontal supporting poles. Eyelet was just never sewn on.So, out if the box it is already concerning. Then it came to setup. It isn’t impossible to set up solo as a 6’2” human, but it was tough. Lots of poles and details. Biggest drawback is the verrrry long sleeves for the two main support poles. It is darn near impossible to get the poles through the sleeves, and I heard threads tearing as I tried, so I stopped to ask a friend for help. It took about 20 or more minutes to set at this point. At this point I was still considering keeping the tent. I figured I could sew a new guideline on, and maybe get narrower tent poles or something. Then I went to stake it down. The junky plastic eyelets immediately broke. By the end of the weekend, I think three eyeless had broken off. This was with careful, adult use.Not acceptable, no matter the price, which went from $200 to $300+ after I bought it. Sorry, this is junk. Returning.

LOTS OF ROOM!!
This is such a great idea!! The tent is made of very strong and durable material. The tie downs are strong as well. I have a bed for the back of my car, so this is like a living room for us. So easy to set up, too. Just park, open up the back of your vehicle, and tie down the tent to it and the ground. It has a flap for like a porch area, too. Man, a couple could actually live in it!! This bad boy will get lots of use! If you travel a lot by vehicle, you gotta get yourself one of these. It will pay for itself in one trip because hotels are just as expensive nowadays! It's much more fun to be in the outdoors, anyway.
