I got this because I needed SOMETHING and it looked like it was the same.The F1-F8 keys do not line up, the left caps key is a little short, and the bottom row keys seem to be slightly a different size so those don't line up.Also the top row buttons are slightly different.Another thing I would like to add here is that it seems like the G915 may have keys that are not as tall as on the G715, so it doesn't lay or rest on the base of the keyboard like it probably should.I hope the seller can create or find one that IS compatible with the G715.This being said... If you NEED something to protect from a spill, this should work until someone comes up with something that is the right size.Is it usable to type with and so on on the G715 - yes... but since some things don't fully line up, just beware of a few keys not feeling like they should.Would I purchase again knowing it doesn't exactly line up - YES!The only other covers that I have found for the G715 makes it so that you cannot use the keys... so this definitely does do the job, I just have to get used to it.

It's made out of very cheap material. Extremely thin.It does not fit well. it does not cling to the keyboard, and slides when you hit a key.After having it on for a couple of hours, I tried to reposition it, and it tore as soon as I picked it up.Complete waste of money
