Pebblebee Card | Rechargeable Item Tracker | Compatible with Apple Find My | 500ft Bluetooth | Water Resistant | Works with Google Assistant & Amazon Alexa

Wanted something for my MagSafe wallet stand so I could track it down if I lost it. There where a few out there like this but this was the only one I found that was rechargeable. I was surprised when I got it just how thin it was. Right around the thickness of two credit cards and a bit smaller than them. It’s also very light. I’d guess something between the weight of a normal plastic credit card and the fancy titanium one Apple has. It paired well with the Extrelife Magsafe case with the kickstand and would work well with their other one without the kickstand as they can hold quite a few more cards than the standard ones out here that hold two or three since their outer pocket is elastic. If your using another MagSafe wallet without the higher capacity this will really limit its utility since it’s going to be replacing two cards. Also keep in mind regardless of the wallet, if it’s got RFID protection, this will not work so your going to have problems with something like a Ridge wallet. In my case the RFID protection was only on the inner pockets so it worked fine putting it in the outer pocket. It paired quite easily but wouldn’t show up in the Find My app afterwords even though it was paired until I did a hard reboot on the phone. That’s volume up then volume down then hold the power button until it reboots and the Apple logo appears. This seems to be and Apple problem when pairing third party trackers, as Pebble Bee isn’t the only place I’ve seen complaints about this. I’ve had no problems since but plan on keeping and eye on things and will update if things become and issue. Another issue I’ve seen people complain about is no tracking arrow when trying to nail down the location of a device. That is a restriction put in place by Apple and third party tracker companies have no control over that. Personally I’ve got plenty of AirTags and have needed to use them a few times to locate items and never found that feature all that helpful anyways and mostly just rely on telling the tracker to beep instead. This device is quite a bit louder than the same feature in the AirTags even though it’s buried in a wallet behind a bunch of credit cards. You shouldn’t have problems finding these. The only cons I found are it that it feels quite fragile feeling and the charging cable is proprietary. You can squeeze on it and it flexes quite a bit and I definitely wouldn’t go bending it. In normal use I think it will be fine since whatever is around it is going to lend structure but your not going to want it some place where it could jammed and bent like a pocket in a bag. I’d use a tag instead. The cable is a tough one. They couldn’t have made it this thin with a normal USB or a disposable battery so they went with a pogo pin setup like what’s on the back of iPad. It attaches magnetically so no risk of putting it on wrong. The problem is you’d better not lose that cable or this thing is bricked if you can’t get one from the manufacturer so put it someplace safe. It’s real easy to lose something like that when you only need it one or twice a year. A small caveat on that magnetic charger cable. My charging station sits right above my safe. When I popped off the card and let the cable drop it instantly stuck to the safe with the pogo pins down and it was still plugged in to the charger. The safe is painted so no big deal but had that stuck to bare metal instead, it could have shorted out the charger at the very least. If your charging anywhere near bare metal I’d immediately unplug it when I finished charging. Despite its minor shortcomings I do like it. It should prove handy if I lose track of my wallet.

✅ REVISED REVIEW: The Wallet Card is VERY erratic in its behavior. Sometimes it works, but most often not. You can’t get 90 days use out of it, so I sat an alarm on my iPhone to re-charge it each 60 days, and even that failed to make it any more trustworthy. IMHO it is worse to count on it working, only to discover its pretty much useless. IF it will work, it’ll be on its own RANDOM time table. NOT RECOMMENDED TO KEEP TRACT OF, NOR FIND A WALLET OR PURSE. 👎👎👎 ---------- The thin Wallet Card (about the thickness of two credit cards) is a new addition for us. While no one ever plans to misplace their wallet, the card can give you instant relief by locating its whereabouts. So easy to use, especially for something as critical as your wallet. Will work with Apple’s Find My Phone APP -or- Peeble’s own APP.

I purchased my first Pebblebee card tracker over a year ago for my wallet, and I'm impressed enough that I have purchased another as a gift. The tracker essentially functions as an ultra slim Airtag and retains most Airtag features (besides ultra wideband). I spent a fair amount of time shopping for a card tracker, and the rechargeable battery beat out the competition. Competing products like the Chipolo Card Spot have a single use battery that requires you to purchase a new unit each time it dies, and I'd much rather just charge the tracker once every six months or year. Battery life is extremely good. I think I've charged it twice, and it has never died on me thanks to the battery indicator in the find my app. The speaker is extremely loud, much louder than an Airtag. It emits a very high frequency sound. I find the sound a little grating, but it's crucial to find it at close range. In the last year, I misplaced my wallet once, and the Pebblebee card proved invaluable in locating it. After a mile long walk, I realized that I didn't have my wallet, and the Pebblebee card allowed me to easily find and go directly to my wallet. In my mind, it has already paid for itself.

I have been wanting to find a bluetooth tracker that work for my wallet, and want to be able to replace the battery/charge it. decided to give PebbleBee a shot. It works but still comes short on some aspect. Pros: rechargeable I am able to fit it in the pocket of the wallet. I am able to locate the tracker via phone, some LED to help to look for my wallet in dark environment allow me to find my phone by click PebbleBee icon on the tracker. Left Behind feature works, not immediate, but gets triggered few mins Cons: Despite the claim to have upto 500 ft range, the range is somehow much worse than tile pro (2020, w upto 400ft range) that I used before. I left both my key and wallet in the garage. go to the 2nd floor of my house, and try to ring both tracker. Pebblebee will fail to locate the tracker and say its lost while tile ring perfectly fine. And because of this, it often trigger LeftBehind feature few min after I got to my room. I am also unable to connect PebbleBee w/ Google Assist because I am not able to find Pebblebee in the Google Home or Google Assist app

I bought mine 3 years ago for an overseas trip, & placed one in my tiny purse & one in my suitcase. Nice little tracker. Flat, & a bit smaller than a credit card, for spaces where an AirTag or other thick device won’t fit, like a wallet, a credit card holder or an other tight space. Works with Apple Find My, very handy. A bit pricey, but my set has been going for 3 years with just a couple of charges. Very easy to recharge - just don’t lose the charger cable. It’s tiny.

I used the item on one trip. Rhe charger was difficult to use for subsequent trips.

UPDATE: March 7, 2025 After working with customer service, Pebblebee extended a friendly gesture to send a replacement PB Legacy tracker (it was not the update Universal tracker). Replacement device is working again as it should with the Apple Find My app. January 30, 2025 My wallet tracker was purchased in Oct 2023. Recently when I try to re-pair it to my Apple Find My app (on iOS 18+), it will no longer pair. Currently it still works with the PB Legacy app but it will no longer work with Apple Find My app. I have two of these trackers and it's out of warranty/support now. Customer states that the newer Universal product addresses these issues. They are offering a 15% discount on the newer device but I'm passing.

This card is perfect for my needs I keep one in each camera bag as a just in case. Just in case I forget where I put it or just in case it gets stolen. The battery life is amazing and the tracking is spot on.
