End-fed radiators uniquely resonate on the 1/2-wave fundamental frequency plus odd/even harmonics above. A broad-band matching transformer at the feed point allows access to the entire HF spectrum. Quick setup is possible with just one high center or end support, making it ideal for home, road, or emergencies. EFHWs can be installed virtually anywhere in minutes. The rugged, insulated-wire radiator prevents detuning when contacting limbs/branches, and the 'no-snag' end insulator slides over branches and through foliage without hang-ups. You can toss your EFHW over a high limb for an inverted-V, raise the far end high for a powerful sloper, or even go vertical with an inverted-L. Easy to run the wire to nearby trees in an "L" shaped formation. Voice SSB range is about 1,000 miles and CW range is over 5,000 miles. Easy installation, easy running the wire, easy grounding, everything about this antenna is amazing. Works well on the 40-10 meter bands, but does not support anything else.
