This stomper is great for packing down cabbage and other vegetables even in the largest ceramic crocks. Used in circular patterns it releases juices from the cabbage, giving you a good pack, and getting your fermentation off to a good start. To wash your Wooden Sauerkraut Tamper, simply scrub throughly in warm water, wipe dripping water immediately, and set to dry. Proudly made in the USA.
