I had my doubts but this worked really well in helping me find the studs behind a plaster and lattice wall. Others didn't so for the money this is probably just as good as more expensive ones

I purchased a different stud finder and found that it was very difficult to get accurate results, repeated use on the same spot kept giving different results. When I tried the Franklin M70 it was very easy to use and the results were much more accurate and repeatable.

This stud finder is fantastic! I had one of the magnetic ones before, but this is a huge upgrade. Knowing exactly the center of the stud is extremely helpful and the accuracy seems top notch.Highly recommended for any DIYer.

Easy to use and gives wider detection boundary

This thing is great, ya we can all find the stud by knocking and sound, but can you find the dead center over and over again? It’s cheap and effective and allows me to hang everything dead on every time.

This stud finder actually works, no guessing where a stud is and its center.

I never had much luck with the other stud finders but this works perectly

I tried to use this to find a stud to hang an expensive wall clock. The 3 lights lit up showing the center of the stud so I marked it with pencil. When I put the mounting screw in.....NO STUD THERE. I then put the screw one inch to the left....no stud...one inch to the right...no stud. I checked again with stud finder and it showed a stud right under where I screwed in the 1st time. My cousin brought over his stud finder and it showed a stud 5 inches away from my Franklin studfinder. I put in a screw and it caught the stud perfectly. He checked my studfinder and it was showing a stud at all different spacing ie...6 inches apart..then 11 inches apart..then 20 orchestra apart etc. His lit up every 16 inches. I'm very disappointed with this but I can't return it because it's out of the time window for returns.

it's more affordable and does the job like other models, it can accurately detect studs behind drywall.

This is superb, so easy to use. It has been put to good use in my property and has helped me to find multiple wooden batons in the walls for securing tv wall brackets. It also easily detects electrical cables.Please be aware that it does not come with batteries, AA are required.

The only problem I had was in closing the battery cover. It was a bit tricky but easy enough after a couple of tries.

Not sure about professional use, but this is great for my home-owner use case. Very intuitive and simple to use

Had previously bought a much more expensive stud finder that just didn't work, giving false results and not finding studs reliably. Had to resort to using a magnet as a result.Thought I would try this as seems to be a USA product and I know that the US builds lots of houses with stud walls. Though and behold it works really well. The light array which gives an indication of where the middle of the stud can be found is particularly useful.
