I’ve been using the Vocaster Two for about 8 months now, and it’s been flawless. At first, I thought I needed the bigger box version, but this actually has everything I need for podcasting. The loopback feature works great for recording audio from my laptop, and I can easily connect a mobile via Bluetooth or a TRRS cable to bring in guests. It has dual mic inputs, headphone outputs, and even a camera output, which is super handy for streaming or filming setups. Auto gain and mute functions make it quick to work with, and overall, the sound quality is clean and reliable. The only minor downside is that the surface collects dust quite fast, but that doesn’t affect performance. Great bit of kit, I was a guest on a podcast (what's your gimmick) and Cal Halbert used this and compared to me using two mics through vocaster, it was a noticeable difference. We got it for under £150 and I've just purchased a second mic and had a player with it and the difference is night and day, it has went from sounding like a podcast recorded on usb mics through a laptop to sounding very professional. The Bluetooth option lets you dial in a guest and it's crystal clear, they could be in the studio next to you. If you are sitting on the fence the please take the dive and go for it, the value for money is fantastic and I read there was a learning curve, my 8yr old has picked it up, it's that easy to use. If you want to check out the quality looks for any Calbert media on Spotify or The Anth Young and Emma Young podcast from episode 28 onwards. Good weight and feels expensive Cons I bought a mic that needed power and I didn't know to press the 48v for that mic....that's it my stupidity was the con. Update, another massive Pro, if you record the podcast you can add the vocaster sound directly to your video via Bluetooth. Absolute game changer!

I'll keep this short & sweet - do not hesitate to buy this if you want a simple, effective, quality way to record your vocals into your laptop. Quick set-up (with the software download), great software included. I work as a both a music artist and a hypnotherapist so recording my voice is really important. I use this for recording online hypnotherapy sessions and it's fantastic. I really like having the physical buttons and controls on the desk next to my laptop. All of this for such a great price. Don't bother researching it for hours on end - just grab one of these.

I purchased this to simplify my video call/streaming setup. I really like the look and size of it. It also boast plenty of connectivity options. I was previously using a Zoom H4N PRO in interface mode and the Voicemeter software to manage audio routing. Voicemeter (while good and free) requires way too much setup and additional plug-ins to get working correctly. I'd seen plenty of good reviews on the Vocaster one and Two, so when I saw this retailing for under £100 I thought it was more than worth it. When I plugged it in it worked immediately after installing the vocaster hub software. I love the additional Bluetooth and aux inputs on the Vocaster Two. The mic gain also seems to be very clean. I previously had an inline mic booster connected to my Rode Podmic but the Vocaster Two doesn't seem to need it. So far, most applications I use, work just fine. However, when trying to use this device with OBS things get a little complicated. I I'd seen it was possible to route all the audio channels as devices but this feature is not found in the vocaster hub. It's in an additional piece of software, I didn't even know had been installed.I eventually found it sitting in the system tray on Windows 11. To make matters worse, when you activate all the individual channels, the host and guest mic share a 2 channel input making them mono signals. I found myself having to route everything back through voicemeter and then to OBS in order to get things functioning correctly as VM can turn a mono into a stereo signal. Maybe I'm missing something but I was hoping to cut out VM completely. I also wish there was a little more customisation of the effects presets which, for the most part, sound ok out of the box. The addition of a noise gate would also be extremely helpful. This device was made for simplicity and it makes getting started with it very easy. You don't need to know anything about sound recording to get started ,it will even set your gain levels for you with its auto gain feature. However, should you want get a little more advanced with your audio routing, all of its intuitiveness goes out the window. Took me ages to figure out how to use the two loop back channels. Great product but just be sure this is what you want before purchasing. The Focusrite scarlett 2i2 maybe a better choice.

I love the focusrite range, but I felt the need for a mute button along with slightly more gain The vocaster one is great, extremely simple setup process, and works perfectly with my sure SM7B The audio itself is very good, I'm using the beyerdynamic dt 770 pro and while listening to music I use the volume wheel at around 50-60%, so it is efficient with these headphones and offers enough power. The onboard buttons have a tactile touch and when you mute the mic, it shows red clearly indicating no audio sound, again, top work from focusrite on the design. Highly recommended.

يا رجال، الجهاز هذا إذا أنت ناوي تسوي بودكاست أو تسجل صوت في البيت، يجيك على كيفك! جودة الصوت صراحة ممتازة ونظيفة، شغله احترافي وسهل في التركيب، يعني ما يحتاج خبرة هندسة صوت. بس تشبكه على الكمبيوتر والمايك ويتعرف تلقائي، وتبدأ تسجل بدون وجع راس. شغال مع obs وباقي الصوتيات الاشكليه الوحيده xlr الي يجي معه ماهو افضل شي للامانه وايضا type c تحتاج تغيرهم اما الباقي توب تقدر تضبط الصوت وتعدل من نفس الكرت حتى لو ما عندك خبرة، والبودكاست يطلع كأنك في ستوديو احترافي. شوي غالي صراحة، بس اللي مجربه يقول يستاهل كل ريال تدفعه إذا كان هدفك محتوى نظيف وجودة عالية. أما بالنسبة لسعره، تقريباً حول 400 وطالع وبعض المرات تجي عليه خصم ، يجيبونه مع المايك والسماعات كحزمة وحدة، وسعرها أحسن من تشتري كل قطعة لحالها. السلبية الوحيدة ان السلك type c ماهو احسن شي

Excelente solução para Pidcasters pequenos,a qualidade da gravação é excelente, funcionalidade também além de vir com um software traz acesso a DAW Hindenburg. O Material e construção são excelentes,atingi uma qualidade excepcional no meu Podcast com ele.

There aren't many reviews of this microphone and it's a shame. The second I finished my recording test, I jumped on here to write a review, and I don't review many of the items I purchase. I use an Arturia Minifuse with a Coda Preamp and I've tested the Vocaster DM14v against a bunch of other microphones. My male voice is slightly deep but can be a tad harsh in the highs. I've tried the Fifine AM8 and 669d, the Maono PD-100 and the 400x, the Rode Podmic, Zoom ZDM-1, and the Shure SM 58. This microphone blows them all away. It's smooth as butter and has a slightly darker podcast sound. Granted, only the Maono 400x (which is too bright for my taste) is in the same price range, but this microphone puts them all to shame. It needs a good preamp and audio interface to really sing, but the clarity and detail is unmatched by its closest competitors. Its build quality is also amazing. I don't have a Shure SM7B to test out, but I have noticed the Vocaster mic is very similar in design and sound profile. For the money, this microphone is an insane bargain. It is very gain hungry. If you buy it, make sure you get an inline preamp and a great audio interface. I have my Arturia set to noon and it is perfect. All my other mics needed heavy eq to make my particular voice sound great, but this one barely needed anything. My only criticism is it is so crystal clear that you might get a bit of sibilance on hard "s" sounds. I would slap a de-esser on this for my particular voice. There is criticism on the internet that this mic might use the same capsule as the Tbone-BC 500, Universal Audio SD-1, and Music Villa MV. If so, who cares? Those are all extremely high rated mics. Look them up and realize you are getting nearly the identical sound for a competitive price. In the US, the Tbone and Villa MV are cheaper but harder to find and The UA SD-1 is $250! If you are in the market for a mic in the $130 range, I think the Vocaster is a steal. If you are on an extreme budget, my other two mic recommendations for darker sound like this one would be the Maono PD-100 and the Zoom ZDM1, but those cheaper just don't have the clarity and smoothness found in this Focusrite DM14v. (update after 1 week—knocking down to 4.5. The highs are still a tad harsh, sometimes almost digital. Siblance is definitely strong with this one. Nevertheless the clarity is great overall. 5 stars was definitely too much but a solid 4.5 is more realistic. Still one of the best mics I've tested under $150)

Great audio interface! I recently decided to upgrade my mic setup, and I needed a cheap audio interface that was also good quality. Ended up finding this one for 39.99, so pretty much an absolute steal. I absolutely love the quality of this interface. First of all, it was bigger than I was expecting it to be, but that wasn't a big deal. It was really simple to just plug it into my computer and plug my XLR from my mic to the interface. Controlling the gain this is super much easier, as it has color indicators that allow you to see if it's the perfect level or if it's too loud and needs adjusting. The only downside I would say about this is that if you are using a condenser microphone, the 48V phantom power setting turns off every time you power the audio interface off. Honestly, not a big deal. With the click of a button it can be activated again. One other that's amazing about this interface is that it uses a 6.3 mm headphone jack rather than a standard 3.5 mm jack. For a lot of people this might be a downside, but tbh for me it was not. I have the beyardynamic dt990 pros, and those headphones have the option of either using the 3.5 mm jack or it comes with a 6.3 mm jack accessory. Id prefer to use the 6.3 mm jack because it's more durable and overall I believe provides a more stable connection. I also have a mixer that I use with a set of dj turntables, and those also use a 6.3 mm headphone jack. It's really nice to be able to easily switch between using my headset for the audio interface and connecting to the mixer for my dj system rather than having to constantly screw on and off the 6.3 mm jack accessory that came with my headset. Overall I love this audio interface, I would recommend buying RIGHT NOW if you are tight on a budget.
