New favorite way to cook eggs!
My new favorite way to cook eggs! I know I'm not there only one out there with crazy hectic mornings. Even when my morning calms down and it's only me and my toddler in the house, it's still crazy. But I get the eggs out, prepare them, turn it on and go back to chasing my little mess maker.I still refer to the manual for water lines, but this thing is so easy to use and small enough to tuck away conveniently after breakfast.Easy to clean. After I accidentally jerked it, (by not having the cord close enough to the outlet (operator malfunction- the cord is plenty long enough)), and spilled a bit of the raw egg from the omelet tray onto the metal cooking plate, I unplugged it, rinsed it off, added the desired amount of water again, plugged it back in and continued cooking. Another time raw egg was spilled onto the cooking plate was when my 6 year old wanted to help by poking the holes in the eggs before hard boiling. She was a little heavy handed on one of them and it went everywhere. Once again, fairly easy mess to clean. Put clean eggs back in carton, rinsed off cooking plate, added correct amount of water again, and continued.Hard boiled is probably our favorite way to cook them so far, although the omelets and poached eggs turn out perfect too. And with the marker I keep in the silverware drawer, I put a dash on the hardboiled ones as to differentiate them so I can put them back in the carton -and not confuse my husband. LolIt says 3 eggs in the omelet tray, but I think they'd need to be smaller eggs, also if you plan on adding extra ingredients, I'd stick with 2 eggs. Note: I use extra large eggs. It also says not to add meat, but from the picture you can see I added already-cooked diced ham and it turned out perfect and fluffy. The plastic trays are hot after cooking, but still cool enough to pick them up by the edges to remove from cooking plate. And like other reviewers mentioned, you Still NEED the egg plate to rest the the 2 trays on while cooking. You'll still have as many dirty dishes as you would if you were using a normal pan and stove top method, but the stylistic nature of this little gadget to plug it in and forget about it until the buzzer goes off is wonderful. Note: I have a capful of water that to add back to the metal plate when turning it off, just in case food went over and is starting to bake on. With the water, the still incredibly hot plate will soften the food to keep you from scrubbing later on. Overall: 5 STARS! Convenience, cooking, versatility, cleaning, storage, it's a game changer.

Easy to boil, easy to peel, slightly confusing instructions
This thing makes boiling eggs SO MUCH EASIER than the traditional method of boiling eggs. All you have to do is add water, add eggs to the tray, push a button, and they're done within a matter of minutes. I don't use the egg piercer tool at all - I add my eggs completely whole and untouched and have not had a problem with them exploding. I've noticed they are also easier to peel than when I boil them in water. It just makes the entire process of boiling/peeling eggs so easy! The water measurer isn't completely accurate. I think a lot will depend on the weather and your elevation. So it took a little trial and error for me to get my eggs just right. I use a little more water than what is recommended to get my desired result. It comes with a cup that has lines in it for "hard/medium/soft/poached/omelette." I don't use the poacher or the omelette pan, I only use it for boiling the eggs. The water cup has indented marks instead of just painted-on marks, which is nice because the marks won't fade with washing. I fill a couple millimeters over the "medium" line, once they are done I let them sit, covered, for another minute. Then I drop them into ice water and once I peel them, they're just right. Some reviews mention brown marks appearing on the machine when the eggs are done. I use clean water and still get the little brown marks on the metal heating apparatus. But it wipes off easily with just a sponge and water - takes 2 seconds. It's confusing because the instructions tell you how long to cook the eggs, based on how many you do at once. But there is no option to adjust the timing, and there's no option on the water cup to indicate how many eggs you're doing. You just fill the water cup, add it to the cooker, press the "on" button, and then it beeps when all the water has evaporated. It has nothing to do with timing. Once the water is evaporated, the machine beeps and it will not stop beeping until I unplug the machine. I think it uses a little more water depending on how many eggs you do at once - but you have to figure it out from trial and error. Note that if you leave the button "on" when you unplug, the button will automatically be "on " next time you plug it in.It would be nicer if the machine automatically turned OFF when it was done. But for the price, this is a great tool. It's kind of a bare bones egg boiler/steamer and it's exactly what I wanted.

Worth every penny
Got this this morning. Pulling out of the box. It's really tiny so it'll take up very little space. Was also surprised to see that there were additional traits that can be used to cook eggs different ways. But I chose to do hard boiled. Ball the instructions pulled the cap off the bottom of the cup which showed a pen place a small pin hole at the top of every single egg. Pour the designated amount of distilled water into the tree pushed it on. When it was done at beach. This is actually an amazing device and it makes amazing eggs to boot. Cute affordable takes up very little space and saves you from having to heat up your house especially if you live somewhere like me in Florida great little things

Very easy to use and easy to clean
This is the best thing I bought in a long time. The eggs cooked perfect and they peel easier than I’ve ever had an egg peel. At 75 years that a lot of years of peel and eggs.
