Great helmet! Comfortable and easily adjustable. Lightweight, yet durable.

So far, I haven't had to use the helmet, thankfully. I ordered one for each of us to use during a tornado outbreak. The primary causes of injury/death during a tornado are flying objects, so I thought at least I could protect our heads as we huddle in our bathroom in the event of another tornado warning. Like others, I had some issues following the assembly instructions on the bag but figured out how to install the inner cushioning. I think the helmets will certainly serve their purpose and be much better than the makeshift head protectors I had to create.

Good fit

Many people have complained about the poor instructions for assembling the 3M hard hat, and while I have a good amount of experience using illustrative instructions for assembling things, I came to agree that 3M really needs to improve this. The main problem is the illustrations, where are anything but clear. Also, is it really necessary to publish the instructions on the same plastic bag the hat is packaged in? This makes for awkward handling of them, which was not helpful. Once you can see how this thing goes together, it's really very simple. So I suggest that 3M go back to the drawing board - literally - and use colors to show which parts need to be plugged into which slots in the hat. Or perhaps clear photos instead of drawings. Come on 3M, you're a major corporation that makes quality products, so I know you can do better. The hard hat itself met my expectation of a well-made product. It fits well, it's easy to adjust the fit with a clever knob in the back, and I feel like it will hold up during an impact from a falling item. The price can't be beat, so this product has a real value for the money. I just hope 3M's product people will listen to the many complaints here and improve the assembly instructions.

We ordered a blue hat. We got a white hat. I asked for a replacement, a blue hat. We got another white hat. The helmet was good quality but not the right color!

This hat is certainly a hard one; it protected my head for a solid eight months, with the exception of when I didn't wear it and received a head injury, but that's not the hat's fault. The brackets on the inside are a little difficult to install because sometimes they just don't seem to fit, but with enough force, you can get them in. It's pretty valuable to have in the industrial setting I work in. Not very heavy; not sure if that's good or bad, though. Pretty comfy cause it's got an adjustable strap. Looks dorky like any hardhat does.

I get a lot of compliments on my pink hard hat. I had to replace the inside of the hat due to the sweat band deteriorating ( actually crumbling ) after 5 months of use but the hard hat itself is ver pink and lightweight. I would buy again if anything happened to my current one. I have had this hard hat for almost 2 years now and it still pink as ever !

Does the job just fine, comfortable. I was kind of struggling to put the lining inside, but im just special

good product in looks , very comfortable, and safe just delivery is delayed and in starting i was worried that cost of product is very high, but it is value for money.

I have no way of using this hard hat as the package did not contain the 4 point suspension system. All i got was the hard hat shell.
