Fidget Blanket for Dementia & Alzheimer's | Calming Sensory Blanket | Helps with Autism & Anxiety

Bought this for my mom. She is going through life changes and loves rubbing and touching on fabric. This keeps her entertained calm. Wish I brought this sooner.

I'm not sure what it is about these but my mom starting feeling the different things before I even had it open all the way. She did ask what she was supposed to do with it and I told her she was supposed to do exactly what she was doing. I did show her the zipper and pouch that she could open and close but she liked feeling the different soft things on the blanket. And she liked the puppy dog face that was on there too. I was skeptical about a fidget blanket but when I saw Mom's reaction to it I think it's a great thing and would recommend this one. It's not too big or too small, she can have it in her lap while she's sitting in her chair. Great product for someone with dementia.

This may was purchase for an individual with developmental disabilities that tubs and picks at her pants when she is nervous or bored. We purchased this as an item she can lay in her lap and pick and manipulate the items instead of pick at her pants. This worked great. She uses it all day when just sitting and relaxing or in the car and she does manipulate the the items such as strings between her fingers and rubs the area that is like carpet she rubs her fingers on all areas of it at different times.i suggest this for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

My mother absolutely loves this blanket. When she’s having not so good days, it relaxes her to simply stroke the different materials. On good days, she likes to tie the ropes in knots and move the rings around. It’s very stimulating for her and calming .

Mom was unable to do much with this. Only the soft circle gave her some pleasure.

My Dad passed away only 2 weeks after we received the blanket in the mail, however, he really enjoyed using it. He had Lewbody Dementia and often tried to pull at things or take his sheets and twist them. He needed something to keep his hands busy. With this blanket, we were able to calm him because he loved the feel of the soft section of the blanket. He also really liked the finger loops, the strings and the pocket with the button. My mom didn’t think he would use it but sure enough.. he loved it! Highly recommend!

This item was really helpful when dad needed something to busy his hands with when bedridden. Didn't help 100% ofthe time, but that wasn't the fault of this great item. It was difficult time, this was a help

A Family member is in Memory Care and is always looking to touch and feel. I saw this and thought it would be perfect with the fake fur and other soft surfaces. She uses it all the time and falls asleep clutching it. Very pleased with the purchase and it came nicely packaged in a gift box.
