Perfect for fruit rolls
I make fruit rolls in my dehydrator and before I purchased these I was wrapping my dehydrator racks in saran wrap and pouring my blended fruit onto that. These are SOOO much easier to use, much less plastic waste, and are super easy to clean. The higher walls on these also allow for a much thicker fruit roll. Excellent product.

Lip of the tray seems to impede drying.
We have 2 identical dehydrators and like to do lots of fruit Rollups. First dehydrator we bought silicone mats approximately the size of two trays and cut them in half. This left about 1 inch of open mesh on the tray on all sides. Second dehydrator I bought these mats , also about an inch smaller than my trays but with about a 1/4 lip all around. When I used it to make identical rollups to the first one , it took much longer to dry and we ended up with a mess… some too dry and brittle, and all had sticking problems to the mats . My first set of mats(with no edges) seemed to be a fiberglass fiber mesh impregnated with silicone — they have a slight texture. These mats seem to be dead flat and all silicone. First mats always released when the food was dry enough but the second never did even when the edges were over dry and brittle. Solved this problem by coating the second mats with olive oil spray or wiping peanut oil on the flat silicone mats - after doing this they would release (if you are careful). The textured mats always seem to release sooner and are more forgiving to differences in drying. When we would pour right to the lip of the tray, it was always difficult to impossible to remove what you are drying, so I now us them just like the first mats I got and only pour to about 1 inch from the mats edge.In the end our opinion is the tray lips are not necessary and impede drying. Textured silicone baking mats stick less and dry faster.

Finally Something I can use to dehydrate my abundance of eggs!
After struggling to use the hard plastic fruit roll trays, which warp, I purchased these. I can fit approx 6 eggs per tray (obviously, depending on the size of the egg!), they fit perfectly on my wire trays and super easy to move into the dehydrator. Eggs slide right off, and clean up is about as easy as it gets! Definitely loving this purchase

PERFECT!!!
Exactly what I was looking for! My 1st project, tinkering with new dehydrator, was mashed potato flakes (for instant mashed potatoes). These trays fit the size of my dehydrator racks perfectly. They're pretty flimsy so you pretty much HAVE to have each one on a rack at every step, which is no trouble, to me. The mashed potatoes lifted off each tray like a giant potato chip with literally NO effort. NOTHING stuck! I later tried 2 trays of fruit leather- still learning so I only made 2. Again, nothing stuck, fruit leather also pealed right off! I LOVE to tinker in the kitchen but having to deal with the mess afterward makes me fuss & cuss! Made the leather- it was SO tasty!! The trays then got stuffed into a gently used pot- to get them out of the way until I was ready to wash them. I noticed them there a few times & thought "Oh dang, those stupid things will be warped & unusable now". Nope! Pulled em out of that pot & with the exception of being dirty they were good as new!!!
