So, I got the 5g Clay desiccant bag to help dry some herbs. They work like a charm and you can even re heat them (while using low power) in the microwave or just put them out in the sun for a while to use them again. Be aware that they will take away humidity pretty fast and will lose capacity faster than other desiccants.

I buy a lot of long-term food storage items in bulk and then re-seal them in air tight packages. These have worked out great to throw one in each bag to help make sure the product stays dry. I love the fact that these are non-chemical based and even though they’re not made to eat if you did digest some of its content it would not hurt you. Perfect compliment to Mylar bags for long term food storage. The 5Gram size is a nice middle of the road choice as I'm using many different size bags and the volume varies significantly. Seems to be working perfectly. Going to try using them in some mason jars with a vacuum sealer as well. Recommended!
