Sony CKSX7 Carrying Case for SRSX7 Portable Speaker (Gray)

This is a simple case but it is a great addition to the SRSX3 speaker. I have no doubt that it will provide more than a token effort against dropping the speaker on a hard surface from height, but to project your speaker from bumps, bruises and scratches whilst transporting the speaker it is fantastic. The case itself is visually quite attractive (I especially loved the red panels) and it fits the speaker like a glove. The fact you can fold the case flat makes it great to stash back in your backpack or out of the way when you're actually using the speaker. You can't really use the speaker with the case on (not that you'd want to) and it is not going to protect the speaker against water other than a minor accidental splash/spill. Overall though, a great case from Sony and despite being a little more expensive I think it is great value.

Very happy with this case. Why I bought it: After paying a lot of $ for a premium product, and especially since it is something I will be traveling with, I felt a case was necessary. Thoughts: So I paid $30. Was it worth it? Yes! The case definitely adds to the product. It's a very luxurious case with a soft felt lining and a magnetic clip in the front. It also is well designed because it folds flat when not in use. The gray is very attractive and doesn't seem to get dirty. But most importantly, its a good case. Its thick enough the minor bumps and scrapes won't be etching or antiquing my pretty little speaker. Would I buy it again? Why yes! While it may seem like a lot of money, it highly compliments the X5. Which, if you have one, I'd sure say you should get one too!

I am using this with the Sony SRSX77 speaker and it fits the speaker like a glove. The price seems a little high, but this case is well made (nicely padded), looks great and should last a long time. I am very happy with this purchase and would buy again.

It's a case for your speaker, how hard can it be to get it right? This hard case does a lot of things well. It fits the X3 like a glove. It has a nice felt lined interior with a magnetic flap. It should protect the speaker from bumps and bruises while traveling. It comes in a nice grey (and red on mine) that is very neutral and seems to not show dirt. It would have been nice if it could store the adapter and USB cord too, but then it would be a bigger unwieldy looking case and this is basically a hard skin for the speaker when not in use. Oh, and it folds flat too. All in all, a solid 4 out of 5. The higher price is it's only downfall.

The Case is exactly what it is supposed to be. Simple and functional. The interior is felt lined, so it doesn't scratch your speaker and it slides in and out easily. The flap has a magnetic closure that securely keeps the speaker from falling out. It offers minimal dent protection, but I just needed it to keep the dust and scratches off of the speaker when I travel with it. It folds flat when not in use and just does its job. Not much else to say. It works. Period.

It's a nice case and fits perfectly but it would be better if it had a place to put the charger as well

Great case. Does what in needs to do and that is to protect the speaker. A handle would be a great addition but it really hasn't been a problem as I can carry the speaker in any backpack. This is a must have item for the SRSX5 speaker. A great speaker needs a great case. This is it.

Nice protection for the SRS-X5 but expensive. I was using the foam shipping bag that the X5 was wrapped up in to keep it from getting scratched up as I was also carrying the power adapter with it in a small zippered tote. The foam bag as started to wear though getting thin in places. This protective case is felt lined, has a magnetic flap and I like that it folds up too. Its a quality product but expensive. I'll be up to the consumer if it's worth the price to get one so I can't recommend or not recommend buying it.
