Lo que no me gustó es que yo esperaba el rojo satinado y llego color mate con textura granulada, al final me gusta el producto, pero por el detalle del color le doy 4 estrellas.

It’s well made and I like the slide opening on the lid. Does it keep coffee hot for 3 hours? I can’t attest to that as I drink a cup in about 30 minutes or less…but I doubt it would stay hot for 3 hours. My coffee does cool down as I drink it. I may test it with hot water some day! Overall it’s a nice size for me but overpriced.Update;I ran a test to see how long a hot beverage would last. I filled my cup with boiling water 212 degrees. After l hour the temperature had dropped to 162 degrees. After the second hour the temperature was 140 degrees. Still warm enough a cup of coffee. Didn’t check at three hours because most folks would have finished before that. I did leave the drink hole open to allow for my thermometer.

I like my coffee very hot. I always microwave my coffee after adding creamer to get it up to my preferred drinking temperature. Since the Yeti mug is not microwaveable, I have to do this in a standard coffee mug first before pouring it to my Yeti mug. I wish Yeti would make a mug from microwaveable materials with styrofoam insulation between the inner and outer layers. I think styrofoam would be a more effective insulator than a vacuum void. This probably won't be a problem for most people and as I said the Yeti mug is very, very well made.

The mug is lightweight, well made, and is easy to drink from. The biggest unexpected factor was that the lid plays a critical role in keeping drinks hot. Without a lid, the mug is just a mug and cools off at about the same rate it would in a ceramic mug. With the lid, however, beverages stay hot for a very long time. A full mug will still be steaming hot a few hours later if the lid is on and closed.

This product looks cool, I’ll give it that. The concept of it is a bit awkward though. The way the much is shaped just fits weird on my hand. That’s a me problem, I know 😅. But the cap just does not keep it warm long enough.
