IRF520 MOSFET Transistors, 100 V, 10A (Pack of 10)

All 10 of them work. Printed on it is "IRF520 NJS1634". I got these because my supply of IRF520 Y52K (from Arduino starter kit) had run out. They have the same dimensions as the Y52K but they have a rougher appearance and more of a metal smell. Something I did have to do here that I didn't have to do with the Y52K is to put a 10k resistor from Gate to Ground, or it would stay powered even after I removed the voltage source from the Gate. I'm using this to switch a 12V load on and off based on the presence/absence of a 5V gate.

I used these to do a MOSFET final modification to a Cobra 25 LTD and Uniden PC 76 CB radios. The mod should be capable of swinging 8 watts, but just to be safe I set it up for a 4 watt swing at near 1 watt dead key. Smoked both of them in otherwise stock radios.

I executed the BOSS DS-1 MOSFET modification with these and now it sounds like an absolute beast. HUGE!!! Close to tube, and much better than stock tones.

These did not come is a static protected bag, so all ten pieces are junk.

Good price. Purchased a exact replacement for repairs. Works OK.....
