I’m not sure where these negative reviews are coming from. This device works exactly as described. The software is very user friendly and extremely simple and straight forward to setup. It’s actually one of the easiest 3rd party hardware/software device programs to get running. Changing the value/input for the device is just as simple as changing the volume on your computer. The people complaining about this not working or the software being to hard to use probably haven’t given it more than 5 seconds of their time and attention. It is literally beyond simple and works just as described.

Purchased this to assign a keyboard press to be used for push-to-talk in games since I play using a controller and there aren't enough buttons to enable push-to-talk without taking my hand off the controller. All you do is download the software, plug in the foot pedal to your computer, and assign a keyboard press to it. This gets saved on the foot pedal and works without the software once set. I use this on hardwood floor and haven't had any issues with the foot pedal slipping. There is a mechanical click sound when pressed, but not something you would hear if you have headphones on. Would recommend for an easy to use/cheap workaround button especially if you play games using a controller.

Awesome product. Works exactly as I needed it to. I'm using it as a pedal for light gun games and it's perfect! Will be buying another.

Don't waste your money. New out of the box and after only 1 day it no longer responds as expected. Buy something more quality. You'll regret spending your money on this...

I never knew I needed a foot pedal until I started using this. I fell in love with it immediately for gaming (I bound it to the slide key). Unfortunately I might have gotten what I paid for ($16). After about two hours of use the unit started acting flakey. At first I would have small periods where the unit would not work (when I am trying to flee someone and desperately needed to slide). Then after another hour or so it would also start to get sticky meaning it would continue to send the foot pedal's keypress ("b" is default) until I pushed the pedal several times to get it unstuck. I have been continuing to use it for another 5 or so hours and it has gotten a bit better working a bit more frequently.I reached out to the manufacturer through Amazon to no avail after about 3 business days. I am going to send it back as if it is this bad after under 10 hours of use I can only imagine the shape it will be in after 10 hours.The unit itself is about the same size as a standard mouse (see image) and has good mechanical tactile clicking when you press it. The unit feels very light and I would guess that the frame as well as the chassis are both plastic and would not do well if you dropped it.I am going to drop the extra money on the "Elgato Stream Deck Foot Pedal" as I now know every serious gamer needs a foot pedal and that one seems to be the king of them.

Works as intended but it's a bit lighter than I expected. I have a hardwood floor and it keeps sliding around. The size is perfect but I wish the step wasn't so hard to press.

Used this to mine iron ore in runescape while I did other work on my computer. The software is great because you can set it to whatever key you want like left mouse click or whatever. Great purchase
