Easy to use
What a great idea. I tried to use one of the usual bottle jacks horizontally and of course the fluid leaked out. I didn't realize there was a horizontal model. It's easy to use with great results.

Big range
This jack is small enough to fit under my car where other bottle jacks can't, and then the double ram allows it to lift very high. I was able to lift the whole back end of my car up to do brakes with this, it worked well. I do recommend finding a long pipe or something to use as a handle so you can pump it without being under the car.The only small downside is when you reach the end of the larger piston and the smaller one begins to extend it gets harder to pump. It's not bad though. Maybe this is a good thing actually and it really is a 6 ton jack for the first half its range.

DANGEROUS, POORLY MADE, BEWARE!
False Advertising! It does NOT go to 17", it maxes out at 16"! It's made like crap! The plunger is so short you have to pump forever to get it to go up. The handle is 2 pieces and flimsy. The air release is up against the ground so releasing the air is almost impossible. It is VERY UNSTRUDY! My truck never left it's wheels but the jack slid sideways under a load. This is a DANGEROUS JACK! This should not be sold to anyone!

Good jack so far - except for the handle
I got a pair of these to lift my F-150 up to jack stands for maintenance. So far i've used it just once and it worked fine without leakage. The double ram provides more lift than the one I had before. When I unpacked it I noticed the ram surfaces and hinge points were quite dry so I extended them out all the way and gave them a good oiling. As stated by other reviewers the handle is terrible and separates easily no matter how hard you twist them. Before I used them I spot welded them together which should have been done at the factory or better yet simply made out of one piece. Despite that It seems a good value for the price point and hope they last a while.

I'm keeping it, I'm using it, but I don't recommend it
This jack can lift higher than my old floor jack, and it has a smaller footprint, which makes it very useful, and it's a good value, but really not that great as a primary jack. The handle it came with is terrible. It came in two pieces to ship in a smaller box, and they're just pipes with a pinched end that fit together with tension. The motion needed to lift the jack immediately loosens the two sections and the smaller section slides right through the handle receiver and hits the floor. My other jack handle is just slightly too wide to fit in this jack, so I can't use much leverage. The release knob is right against the floor with a rubber cover on it, I guess for finger tightening. I had to keep pliers nearby to open it, but then the jack doesn't lower all the way to the lowest position. It drops until there's no more weight on it and won't drop any further, so I have to grab the ram and try to manually push it down a little more to get it out from under the car. Now, the scary part: I noticed one of the times I was getting the jack into place that the inner ram was going up before the outer ram. I wasn't sure if that's how it was supposed to be, but once it started lifting the car, the inner ram dropped suddenly and frighteningly and then I kept going and the outer ram lifted to meet the inner ram and then it started lifting properly. I think I need to fully extend this jack and lubricate everything well.Don't use this without jack stands, but that goes for even the best jack. Don't let hydraulic oil be the only thing holding the car up if you're putting any part of your body under any part of the car.

Great for flates
Perfect for changing flats because it is low enough when down and can extend high enough to get a tire well off the ground
