Love this tool! It has been indispensable for heat sealing cookies. It’s easy to use, isn’t hot to the touch, and has been reliable for the nearly five years that I’ve had it. Admittedly it doesn’t get used daily, but when I need it, it’s quick, quiet and dependable. I’ve not had to replace the plate with the included parts yet, either. It’s able to accommodate a large variety of bag sizes too. It’s light enough that if I needed to take it with me, it wouldn’t be a problem. Very satisfied with this sealer.

I use this a couple times. It is very easy to use. it does exactly what it said it would.

Well, I was a little disappointed when I tried to use this item for the first time. It simply did not power up when I put the handle down. Lucky for me, I am a good troubleshooter and repair person. Instead of sending it back and waiting for another one (because I needed it right away), I opened it to see what was wrong. I was happy to see that all wires that were welded were shrink wrapped at the welds which was impressive to me and shows some amount of quality/safety. I did see one solder splash on the inside body of the unit. Wire lengths were appropriate, the switch was heavy duty, and component arrangement were all good. The switch mount, on the other hand, was a little on the flimsy side. However, it was sufficient for functionality. It may be something to check in the future if the unit stops working. The problem that kept the unit from coming on was a little disturbing. A wire between the switch and fuse (110VAC) was not soldered to the lug at the fuse. Rather, it was just held in place with shrink wrap. Somewhat dangerous in my opinion. It made me want to check and re-solder all joints in the circuit. As far as safety is concerned, I think that the switch, since it makes contact with the handle that you touch, should not have 110VAC at that point in the circuit. A safer circuit could have been designed where there is only 24V or even 5V at the switch! No big deal though and not required and not too worrisome. Your light switch in your house (USA) has 110VAC at your finger tips too but usually NOT on a flimsy mount like in this device. In addition, a tie wrap, like the style you put on your bread bags, was used to keep the wiring neat. A zip tie would have been more appropriate in my opinion. Overall, I like the device. It does a great job sealing the bags. I would not send it back and I think the safety risk is low enough to operate it. Knowing what I know now, I would have chosen a different manufacture. I recommend that the manufacturer at least put in some better or additional quality control checks during assembly.

La primera selladora que me llegó venía con el control de temperatura roto. Sin embargo, el tiempo de respuesta de Amazon y del proveedor fue súper rápido y una semana después tenía en la puerta de mi casa una selladora completamente nueva y en perfecto estado. Hasta ahora me ha funcionado perfectamente, la he usado con bolsas termoencogibles y estoy contenta con los resultados.
