The bracket simply slips over the wire using the integrated clip. 5/16 (ID) flexible low pressure tubing is used to connect the cage brackets to your water source. When not installing your system on a wire enclosure, consider our other mounting options, such as our heavy duty tee fittings and PVC bushings. Cage brackets are also available as part of our complete watering systems. For a fully automated "on demand" solution, consider a Backyard Flock Automatic Poultry Watering Kit. BYF Watering Kits allow you to connect your nipple drinkers to household water lines, providing a constant supply of fresh water for your flock.

Broke two trying to put them on.  Brittle plastic.  Not clear how these are supposed to help and secure to cage as they seem to be oriented completely wrong.  Had to zip tie and ignore the clip.
