No. Will not fit binder and books. Returning for my 5th grader

Q: Is this a mesh backpack?

No back pack is like most backpacks from Walmart. My daughter has used it for 2 years. Which i can say backpacks from Walmart she will go through 2 each year so better quality. The side pockets for example water bottle are mesh.
