Yes it does. Great device. Between the family we have 3 of these. The 4, 6 and 7. Reliable and fairly accurate. Seem to get slightly better and have more features with each new model

Is there a say to track skiing as a workout as its not listed in the many sports options. Hopefully somebody knows a way?

there i not exactly skiing as workout in section of winter sports is only (curling,ice skating,indoor ice skating) but i think you can choose any workout whitch is closest to skiing .

Can i sync my activity from this band, like steps count, to google fit mobile app? i don't mean connecting this band to a mobile phone via bluetooth.

Google fit is not that accurate.Soo i prefer to use the app they reccomend.
