DEWALT 20V MAX XR Biscuit Joiner, Brushless, Tool Only (DCW682B)

Fantastic machine. Very easy to use and very precise. I did a edge band moulding on a counter and it worked beautifully. The dust collection is amazing for a non-vacuum solution, which I normally don't care about until I have to bring a tool inside, then it is very important. I had one cut I had to made with the bag off, and let me tell you, the bag does a lot. Paired this with the cordless shop vac from DeWalt and you can use it for in-house cuts with no mess. Exactly the quality you would expect from DeWalt.

I use to join slabs of wood together to create that seamless look. The jury is still out whether or not biscuits actually make the joint stronger or just assistant with alignment. My opinion is they help with alignment mostly. I always run the wood through a jointer on the glued edges first before glueing to insure that seamless look.

Strong, powerful, great design. Very good price point. You can easily use this one-handed if you need to stabilize the workpiece (such as when there is some bow involved). I also like the way I can hold the joiner with one hand and slowly squeeze the cutter handle and edge guide for a more controlled and smooth cut. The cutting edge height is easy to adjust, and the biscuit size dial is accurate and very easy to use. Finally, the FlexVolt battery delivers excellent power and time of use, while still being balanced and keeping that pesky cord out of your way.

I upgraded from an older plug in jointer to this one. Works very well. Powerful and accurate. Not having a cord is very helpful.

Que decir que herramienta,una calidad que se nota al darle el primer encendido, facilita muchísimo hacer uniones sin tener q gastar la cantidad de dinero que sale el domino,lo único que me extraño fue que esperaba fabricado en estados unidos y dice hecho en México pero la calidad es impresionante bien ahí México 👍🏻

I haven’t used it on a project yet but, I did try it on a couple of scrap pieces. It is extremely easy to use and worked fantastic. Well worth the price.
