Abu Garcia Orra 2 Front Drag Reel - Silver

(This is actually the husband, we use my wife's amazon account).Bought the Orra SX 30, and it's a fantastic reel with a very smooth drag. Put a 1/16th oz lure on it after spooling it with 10lb braid and it cast a country mile, definitely a great casting reel. My wife bought the Orra S for me last Father's Day and I had fallen in love with it and decided she needed a decent spinning reel; after some looking around we went with this one. Pair it with a decent spinning rod and you'll have a great finesse bass fishing setup. I'd put this up there with any of the other popular spinning reels out there, from Pfleuger to Shimano. It is a good reel, casts a good distance, reels in smoothly. So far it has handled the wind, sunfish and bullheads. Real test is coming up on the 4 to 6 lbs suckers taken out of the river and/or 30" northerns, 3 lb walleye and large mouth bass. Those seasons are not open yet, and the suckers haven't started running.

Smooth casting and retrieving. I have found no faults in the reel except that it is another piece of gear that has failed to make me perfect and always successful. It has sometimes allowed my casts to go astray.

This is a decent reel. The Orra Power model is much better.
