Decorably 12 Modern Figurative Language Posters for Classroom, 11x14in Matte-Laminated Educational English Classroom Posters High School

I saw these in a classroom that I was assigned to for Summer School and just knew that I had to have them for this upcoming school year. The posters are very high quality (although I will be laminating mine to avoid destroying them with glue/tape). They include a gist of most used literary devices, making these the perfect anchor charts to reactivate student's memories of information taught in the past. Also, the colors are beautiful!

I bought these to go up in my classroom and I’m obsessed with them! I’m a first year teacher and the posters I inherited for figurative language are dated and boring, so I did a little Amazon search as you do and came across these! They are great quality and a thicker poster paper so they are durable and they have an almost semi-gloss finish to them. I taped them to the outside of the cabinets behind my desk so the kids can see them and it adds some color to the classroom but they’re more modern and adorable and much more my vibe than the boring dated ones that were left by the last ELA teacher. HIGHLY recommend!!

I’m very happy with these! Exactly as expected, packaged nicely and I love the colors! Sturdy material, not flimsy or cheap. They come with little stickers to adhere them to the wall. 10/10!

Overall, I’m pleased with these posters. They’re sturdy and feel high-quality, and I like the matte finish. However, I expected the colors to be much more vibrant based on the Amazon images. Maybe it has something to do with the finish. They’re still cute and I still plan to use them in my classroom, but they’re not as bright as I’d hoped.

I bought these for my English IV classroom. Students have learned about figurative language for years, but there are some who need visuals to be able to remember these posters are an excellent resource. They are also very cute and seem very durable.

I ordered these for my high school student classroom when I realized they did not remember these literary skills from Middle School. Perfect size and easy to read font!

Amazing colorful posters and students love looking at them! I would have loved to have bigger posters so students can see the font larger but otherwise, this is great!

If you know anything about figurative language, you’ll know that what is printed on the “Oxymoron” poster is wrong.Also, there is a typo on another one do the posters.Pretty but not very well written!
