Tested, along with the matching conditioner from the brand
I am always happy when I have the matching shampoo andconditionerfrom a range, as is generally advised for best results. With others commenting positively, my hair does feel slightly heavier, looks shinier and is easier to manage generally, although it may be that a change of product is good.As to the ‘promotes hair growth’ claim...only time will tell, but I am not sure I would notice a difference in that respect.ooOoo~ KeiSha®~ Extra Dark Jamaican Black Castor Oil~ Hair ShampooSIZE: 200 mlooOooUniform in the presentation with a flip-top cap, the shampoo & conditioner bottles are the same, so it may be hard to differentiate between them in a steamy shower. From direct experience, I would recommend sorting out the inner seal in advance of washing ~ I didn’t notice it and with dripping hair + wet hands found it incredibly difficult to unscrew the gold coloured, plastic-type top and ended up pressing the bung in, which I doubt is the correct method! There is nothing on the bottle or the current product description to clarify. The dark amber coloured, plastic-type bottle stands around 16.5 cm tall on a base diameter around 4 cm.With a pleasant scent, the shampoo is creamy coloured and a nice thickness. The extensive list of INGREDIENTS is on the back of the bottle.3 images attached

Not too bad....
I was happy to try out this shampoo and also ordered the conditioner as I always think you get a true example of what they are like if you have both.I was drawn to this for two reasons, sulphate-free means it won't strip the colour from my hair as it is chemically treated, and secondly because it claims to promote hair growth. When I first wanted to try the shampoo out, I took the bottles into the shower, wet my hair, then when I came to squeeze it out, realised I hadn't opened the seal, but could I work out how the heck to do it? So instead, I put the bottles to one side and used my other products until I could figure it out later. Unfortunately, it wasn't easy when I came to try it later. There is no instruction on how to remove it so in the end I just ended up pushing it into the bottle. I highly doubt this is the correct way but I couldn't see any other way of removing it.The next time I came to wash my hair, I was successfully able to use the duo. I would say the shampoo has a nice consistency and lathered on my hair quite well and had a lovely smell.I followed with the matching conditioner and the results initially were nice leaving me with soft shiny hair. The only problem I found was my hair did seem to go quite dull the day after and by the 3rd day (as I only wash after the 3rd day), it was a little greasy and very dull. I'm not quite sure why but maybe I needed to wash it with the shampoo twice, or need to wash it a little more frequently with this one.In any case, I wouldn't say it is a bad duo and I will certainly continue to use them, but at nearly £20 for both, I may reconsider purchasing again. I must reiterate though that this is not a bad set as I have had far worse so please don't let this put you off. This is just a review based on my personal experience with my particular hair type....and believe me, my hair can be extremely fussy with shampoos lol. I'd give this a good 4/5.

Not great
Shampoo made my hair feel like straw. Bought it as the reviews said how silky it made hair feel. For my hair it felt like I washed my hair with an old soap bar.

It is not dark!
I was expecting a dar coloured shampoo but this is opaque cloudy milky colour. It comes with an inner stopper that is really tricky to get out of the bottle so remove that before you have wet hair and hands in the shower!.Once the stopper is removed the dispenser is a normal flip down lid.The shampoo smells really nice and slightly floral. It feels lovely in the hair, silky lather, and very gentle. It rinsed out and my hair felt good even before I used the matching conditioner. This is on the expensive side for 200l of shampoo but it has no sulphates. It has many claims but I just find it a nice, quality shampoo that leaves my hair feeling clean and looking healthy.

Great shampoo. Works for all hair types.
Pretty good shampoo, even though its recommended for curly hair it works for all hair types (I got a straight long hair). It moisturises, thickens and strengthens the hair. It doesn't lather much but its better when washed twice. It really gives that impression of a thick hair, which makes brushing very easy - and the hair won't break. And no itchy scalp after a few uses.I wouldnt go back to the normal shampoo at this point, as it really makes a visible difference.I will update my review after long-term use of this shampoo, as it suppose to stimulate the hair growth by increasing blood flow to the scalp and supplying valuable nutrients to hair follicles. In the summary, one of the best shampoos I ever used.
