I love it!
I love this product! It’s very nice and sturdy. The instructions were not very clear. If that would’ve been easy to read it would’ve been a 5 star review. The reason I gave it a 3 star review on assembly was because the instructions were unclear. The product looks very fancy and sturdy and I get lots of compliments on it. The color is beautiful (gray) not very far but not too light. Just perfect. I recommend this product!

Installation takes a while
You get a 140 pound box. It took 2 smart people 2 1/2 hours to put it together with no mistakes. The instructions were excellent. I’m very happy with it but be prepared to do a lengthy installation. All you need is a Philips head screwdriver. Follow the instructions exactly and you will have a good result. I would recommend to anyone willing to do the installation. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely buy it.

Nice looking and goes together easily
This is a good looking sideboard with a slightly distressed wood look. We got the dark brown model and it arrived in great shape, although the box had seen better days. Luckily, the packaging was excellent - it completely filled up our trash can so there is a hefty lot of it. The box is EXTREMELY heavy, so you'll need to "team lift" it or do as I did - I opened it in the driveway and carried the parts inside. The instructions say it takes two to build it, but I did it easily by myself. There weren't many heavy lifting moments, so I think most folks can get by doing it singly. The instructions are quite good and I took my time putting everything together. If you use the enclosed allen wrench, you'll likely have a 3+ hour build in front of you. I used power tools and came in just over 2 hours without rushing, and making sure I put everything together the right way the first time. One very nice thing is that much of the drawer sliding hardware is already installed, making that part of the process much easier than with many cabinets I've built through the years. The design uses cam-locks, for which I have a love/hate relationship. They are easy (which I love), but they can be made of very cheap materials that can strip horribly (I'm looking at that Target bookshelf I assembled last summer). The cam locks that came with this are kind-of middle-ground on quality. They certainly aren't the most sturdy I've come across, but they weren't the cheapest. I didn't manage to destroy a single one, which is great, and the unit is holding together nicely. There are a number of assembly points that use wooden dowels, and I prefer to use wood glue to put those in, making the unit even stronger when complete. There are some unusual choices here. The doors are soft-close, which is awesome. But the drawers are not - which is a bit annoying. The surface of the unit is really rather delicate and an edge of the top where I dropped my screwdriver got a tiny ding in it that showed the light colored manufactured wood. A quick touch-up with brown marker hid it fine, but this is not a surface that should be interacted with a lot - definitely better as a unit that sits off to the side and just looks good. Because it really DOES look good. The door adjustments for the hinges are even easy and there are instructions how to adjust them! I don't think I've ever seen that before in a kit...they tend to make you figure it out yourself. As I built it, I kept having moments of "Wow...this is a nice design" followed by, "Really? That's cheaper than any Ikea model." So...at this price point, I think it is a very decent unit that looks fantastic. However, if you move a lot (like I did during and just after college) or plan on using this as a main unit with lots of interaction with it, I don't think it will hold up to that kind of strain very well. But if you have it as a sideboard with reasonable interaction, it should be a nice addition. Given that solid wood sideboards that look this good will easily set you back a grand or more, this is a good deal.

Love this piece!
I searched for a few weeks to find the perfect buffet / sideboard for our dining room. So happy I found this one! Very reasonably priced compared to other options I was looking at, it’s very nice quality (heavy!), and very straightforward to put together. After buying a new house and having to furnish it, I’ve built a lot of pieces lately and give this a 10/10!

Really easy to assemble
Really happy with this purchase. Based on previous reviews, I expected it to be complicated to assemble. It wasn’t. It took my husband and I am hour and a half to put together. The drawers are spacious and the cabinets are roomy as well. It’s a good sturdy piece.
