Very good suction. Easy to clean canister and filters. The larger the battery, the longer it lasts. 2 AH is light, and fine for occasional touch ups. 4 AH and 6 AH are heavier, but good for serious vacuuming for an hour or more. All the 1 1/4 in. tubes and accessories fit. It makes a good floor vac with 2 extension tubes and a floor/carpet brush.

The Ryobi ONE 18volt hand vacuum is one of the easiest hand vacs to use and charge. Being a Ryobi One tool fan, I have grown accustomed to the quality of Ryobi tools. I purchased this unit from Amazon with a gift card that I received for my birthday. This hand vacuum is simple to use and easy to recharge and quick change RYOBI batteries. Emptying the large dirt bin is easy to release by pressing one button on top. After emptying the bin, wipe down the filter element with your hand or paper towel, realign the notch on the bottom of the bin unit and tilt upward until the bin locks the button back into place on the top. One easy process. If you have other RYOBI ONE tools, the batteries are interchangeable. Thank you RYOBI for this great tool!

I had the previous generation of the Ryobi Vacuum- it had a slotted nose like a dust buster and was adequate but not great. Killed batteries in no time. This vacuum is very good, approx 1" round inlet, much better suction and easy disassembly and cleaning. Have done some tough jobs with it- cleaned an old gas grill and had a bunch of chunks of solid carbon and junk. This sucked it right up and wasn't difficult to clean afterword. Ran the front plastic through the dishwasher and it looks like new. Battery life is still not stunning but more than workable- maybe a 1/2 hr or so on standard battery. Very good.

We have several Ryobi tools, and this one does not disappoint. Powerful suction, easy to clean, can use same 18V battery as for our other tools. Perfect! Cheaper than another vacuum I was considering and I don't have to worry about the battery dying after 10 minutes. So glad I bought it!
