BOUGHT THIS FOR MY BOYFRIEND FOR HIS BIRTHDAY AND HE LOVES IT. IT WAS EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND LOOKS SO NICE. IT HOLDS THE RODS AND NOT BALANCE ISSUES, DUE TO WEIGHT OF POLES. GREAT PIECE, AND SO HAPPY TO HAVE BOUGHT IT.

It was very easy to assemble and once completed is very sturdy. Holds the rods well and I appreciate how the rods are displayed so securely. Just what I was looking for.

I don’t know why more people aren’t giving this thing 5 stars this things AWESOME! I took it out of the box and in 3-4 minutes it was assembled. You screw in the center pole with a built in screw then you afix the top and screw in a top piece the holds the top bolt and that’s it the rest was preassembles. The rustic look is Awesome. Some reviewer said it’s hard to turn I’m not seeing that. I put 4 poles on it and it turns effortlessly. This is great craftsmanship. Highly recommend it. My friend said it could hold pool sticks too don’t know. I got the dark wood one and it looks very classy in my place. I’ve got several poles that were always stacked in the corner and this makes it look classy and organized and my lines and poles won’t hook against one another. I should of bought this long ago. Thanks for making a great product! I’m thinking I might put a hook beneath the top tray and hand my net from it too. Then again it’s got a strap you can just hang it on the outer ring. It’s very sturdy which is great won’t tip over with all the poles. This is just about Perfect!

I purchased a light-colored 24-rod holder to hold booth fresh- and saltwater rods. Although the holder was packaged well, the four screws holing the swivel mechanism to the bottom piece with the rod holders were pulled from the composite material. This was easily and quickly fixed by relocating the four screws.The rod holder went together quickly and is very stable. It turns easily to access rods. The depressions on the base in to which the rod handles fit are, perhaps, a bit shallow. But they work, I really like the material used to hold the rod shanks. It is easy to insert and remove the rods, while securely holding the rods in place. In addition to the holders for single rods, there are also creative holders for two-piece large-diameter surf or trolling rods that can also be used to hold two smaller rods.This rod holder was perfect for my needs, very functional, attractive, and stable. It is perfect to contain and organize the accumulation of various-sized fishing rods of the multi-species angler.

THE GOOD....I ordered this rack as a gift for my husband. The rustic look of this rack ties in beautifully with how our home is decoreated - from the look of the hand-hewn center post to the grain of the wood. Nice finish, and fits all of our freshwater poles. (The saltwater poles are too big around for the clips on this rack.) It was easy for me - yes, a woman - to put together, and holds our 30 rods with ease!THE BAD...This rack is supposed to turn on a lazy susan from the bottom. However, the center post is not designed well enough to make the top plate of the rack turn with the bottom plate. The pre-drilled holes in the poles and plates are poorly designed for this action. So, the bottom will turn (using MUCH force due to the pre-assembled bottom begin screwed in WAY too tight!) but the top stays put on the center pole - making the poles go cock-eyed as the bottom starts to turn. Even after loosening the screws to get the lazy susan to operate properly it still won't turn the way it should. So, two handed operation is called for if you want both plates to turn together.THE UGLY TRUTH...Upon arrival the bottom plate (yes, the one they had screwed to the lazy susan too tightly) was warped! (Imagine that!!) The pre-drilled hole they made for the center post in the bottom plate was too big for the screw they provide. (Nothing a little wood glue couldn't fix.) So, if sending it back in the huge box they sent it in wouldn't have been more trouble than it was worth, I would've sent it back.I certainly would NOT purchase this again (or probably anything else) from this company. It's just not worth the price.

I have had this for about a year now -- and it now holds my many fishing rods and pool cues. Well made and attractive in a camp/cottage

This is a lifesaver. It is very easy to assemble. The centre pole is sturdy. Before you hand tighten the top pole piece above the upper plate, align the clips an slots with the lower plate base holes. This will ensure rods are vertical in storage.It saves the rods from damage. I can access any of them easily and quickly without tangles. Everyone is impressed at the organization, looks smart too. Shows off my expensive rods. Highly recommend and would suggest you get one if you own more than 12 rods.
