Very good product and good VFM!
Although this is a simple DIN to USB midi lead it is slightly more expensive than other leads but well worth it. I have bought many cheaper leads and found to my cost most simply don't work. I'm pleased to report that this lead worked first time, is well assembled and gives you confidence regarding it longevity in use.I'm happy to recommend it.

Easy to use!
Plug and play, no drivers required on my Mac. Works perfectly. Replaced a Yamaha UCX-16 that had required driver updates over the years. This one just works straight out of the box!

No fuss, no muss.
Nice USB MIDI interface with diagnostic LEDs and third-party-driver-free installation as a standard USB MIDI profile device using Microsoft's built-in Windows drivers. I've not tested it on Linux yet though. Physically the node in the cable with the diagnostic LEDs is a little bulky and a bit plasticy but the MIDI IN/OUT cables are reasonably generous in length and have male plugs that can connect directly into your MIDI device chain, in my case both into my Yamaha keyboard synth without additional MIDI cabling. Operation using MidiEditor and Aria Maestosa worked seemlessly.One thing to bear in mind is that modern versions of Windows no longer provide the MIDI Mapper GUI so you can't tell, say, Windows Media Player to use the interface for playing MIDI files. There are a few free replacement apps on MIcrosoft Store but all the ones I've tried are rather naff and don't work very well.

Worked first time out fo the box
Bought this to connect my iPad to a Korg Volca FM MIDI in via camera connection kit. Recognised by the iPad as a midi device and I was up and running in 2 minutes.

Kabel tut was es soll. Konnte meine MPC mit FL Studio connecten und dadurch dann in FL Studio Plugins mit dem scale Mode der MPC spielen 👌🏼

Prima product. Enige nadeel: moest een youtube video bekijken om er achter te komen dat de “in” stekker in de “out” uitgang hoort en vice versa. Dan werkt hij prima.
