A good solid water cooler
We bought this water cooler to replace an old GE water cooler we had.The Clover is a good solid water cooler. It's sturdy, easy to change the water bottles, and easy to clean.I like the fact that you can fill a pitcher with cold water just by having the cold water spout stand up.This is very convenient. The hot water has a safety feature on it so the water will only come out if the flap is pushed in a certain way. Overall,it is a good machine, especially at this price point.

First unit came broken, second one broke in several months
We bought Clover B7A about a year ago as a replacement for our ageing GE dispenser. Unfortunately, it's difficult to notice any signs of progress or innovation for these devices. In fact, the opposite is true - they become simpler, with fewer features and of uniformly inferior quality. The GE unit had 3 spouts: hot, cold, and room temperature. Most of the devices produced today have only two (and few of those that do have three had such abysmal reviews that we didn't dare to try our luck). At the end, we settled on B7A. The first impression you get when unveiling B7A can be summarized with one word: cheap! All-plastic, barely wide enough to be stable, minimum parts, barely legible instructions. The only control available is a screw on the back one can use to control the cold water temperature. Apparently, that was not our lucky day, as the device turned out to be broken: the cold temperature control knob was not working and the water was dispensed at room temperature. Thanks to Amazon, the return process was relatively painless (if you consider as painless re-packaging the faulty unit and lugging it to FedEx). The replacement unit had the know working although after a couple months it stopped doing any fine control, so now offers only two kinds of cold water: ice cold and room temperature (there is no way to make it produce moderately cool water). At this point we put up with this simply because I'm not too eager to play the replacement game again (and possibly getting another dud). Lessons learned: this dispenser is of really inferior quality. Unfortunately other models seem to be not much better. If I were doing it all over again, I'd probably buy one from nearest Home Depot - at least returning it would not be as much hassle.

The best water dispenser that I've ever owned
I've had this for about 3 months and have enjoyed every minute of it. It was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. It keeps the water super cold and isn't very loud, which is a plus. My wife was worried about it not looking great in our kitchen because it has a plastic looking outside but because it's black it tends to grab less attention in the kitchen. Another plus is that it dispenses water quickly. It's almost twice as fast as our previous dispenser, which is really nice. We use our 3 and 5 gallon jugs with screw top lids that we used with our previous dispenser and they fit and work flawlessly. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a dispenser that is reliable and inconspicuous.

Lasted a long time with periodic care
Worked great for about 10 years. Very cold water and the hot water works great for tea or instant coffee. It fills a large cup 32oz pretty quickly and is very cold. The reservoir is large and refrigerates new water quickly. To clean it about once every 6 months I run 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water through it with a 1 gallon bottle. I empty it into a new bottle, then run it through the machine a few times, then after with some clean water. The dispenser lasted me about 10 years before starting to fail on me. It constantly freezes the cold water into a full ice block and I have to unplug it overnight. I have adjusted the thermostat (which controls the temperature of the cold water) both directions and no matter what it freezes anyway. Will have to replace the thermostat now with a professional repair.

Clover B7A hot and cold water dispenser
My dispenser arrived promptly and worked very well for the first month. During the first month the unit was quiet and you would not know it was in the kitchen. Since the the first month however the unit will make a noise once every hour or so as though it is re-heating or cooling the water. It lasts for about 60 seconds and then stops but it is a little annoying and makes me wonder if it a precursor to a bigger problem. The unit still works and appears to be sound in every other way.

Very Loud Water Cooler
Maybe I got a bad unit, but the constant "humm" from this water cooler drove me nuts, so we had to unplug it. We had a different type of water cooler that worked great for many years (don't remember the brand), but it eventually started to leak so we decided to get this Clover one. We keep the water cooler in our kitchen and the humm was very noticeable in any adjoining room. For several months we just kept it unplugged and drank room temperature water. However, after going away for a week, we came back and the water had an awful taste. We drained it, swapped out the bottle, but can't get the bad taste to go away. Presume it is because the water is not cycling, but since it is so loud plugged in, we are just going to order a different unit. I don't recommend this one.

GREAT WATER COOLER, ICE COLD
The main thing I wanted in a water cooler was to actually make the water cold. I did a lot of research and found that most of the popular ones only cooled water to around 50 degrees F and were not adjustable. All I can say is when I have any kind of drink, I'm the kind of person that fills the cup with ice first. This cooler is perfect for me. Makes ice cold water without needing to add ice to the glass and I don't even have it turned to the coldest setting. I don't use the hot water so I can't comment on that. Water flows quickly, especially more so the fuller the bottle is. For ice cold water, this one is perfect.
