We bought this Pet Dreams 3-Piece Crate Bedding Set for Taco, our 14-year-old Chihuahua, and he absolutely loves it! From the moment we set it up in his crate, he went right in and curled up as if he’d claimed it as his own little palace. The crate pad is soft yet supportive, perfect for an older pup with sensitive joints, and the bumper pads make the crate feel extra snug and secure. Taco clearly feels safe and cozy now. The crate cover gives him just the right amount of privacy while still letting him peek out, and it’s machine washable, which makes cleanup super easy. It’s clear this set is made with pet-friendly, non-toxic materials that we feel comfortable having Taco rest on every day. It’s been such a joy seeing Taco relax and sleep more soundly, even his little tail wags more when he hops in! I'd like to give this item 4.5 stars but the system won't allow me. The bed is cushy enough - nothing over the top, but also padded well and not cheap. Held up perfectly well through a cold wash and low-setting dryer - per instructions. Doggo loves it. The cover is a nicely designed and the tie straps at the front, were a good design move. We love the color too. This also comes with a free crate-training guide, which we didn't need, ourselves, but would be useful as a new training guide. Ultimately we just needed the bumper pad because our dog chases his tail compulsively, when left alone. This has so far done it's job well, to protect him from the bars. My one negative would be that only the top side of the bumper, has velcro to hold it onto the crate bars. The bottom side of the bumper pad, hangs into the crate and you have to struggle to force open the bars to tuck it. In our case we have to hope it stays up, while he's bumping it repeatedly. Overall, I highly recommend this. Our dog loves the sense of being in a cushy, protected little den. We would buy this again.

This item was just as I was hoping it would be. I was somewhat skeptical after reading some of the other reviews. It is made of good quality, durable-looking material. The pad was thicker than I expected, and makes for a comfortable resting place. The wall pads did require some thoughtful placement, but the Velcro was sufficient to secure it, and it has stayed in place just fine. All in all, it took me less than 10 minutes to completely assemble (including crate set-up). I have a very sweet-tempered dog, so destruction of this product is not an issue. We don't usually crate our dog, because she is so mild mannered, and does well on her own. I bought this because I we are going on vacation in a few months, and the house we are renting requires your dog to be crated while you are away. I wanted a place that would help to easy anxiety in a strange place. I wanted to create a comfortable "den" to leave our dog in while we were gone from the house. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to "dress up" the look of their crate or wants to make the crate more comfortable for their dog. I would not recommend if your dog is prone to chewing things up while you're away. I'm not sure it's made to withstand that kind of abuse. Overall, very pleased with quality and value.

Size if perfect. And when first placing it in the crate, it was nice and fluffy and looked great and dog loved it...I got the cream color and its pretty and blends in well to other decor so the crate is not such an eye sore. For the HIGH cost of this of this item is my reason for only a 3 star..... I have it not quite a month now, and while the outside cover is fine, the velcro does NOT keep the bumbers in place AT ALL and the fluffy pad inside went flat and my dog only weighs 12 pounds. It did wash well though and if this product was priced lower I would be inclined to give a higher rating. Note to seller: I really think you should LOWER your price for this Item. Its very over priced for what it is. I had read previous reviews prior to buying this and the reviews were pretty much like this one, So I went into it aware that I possibly would not be "thrilled" with it, but estheticially I could not find anything as this. , and with online reviews you just never know, as some people are never happy with anything. So its a 3. If you have EXTRA $ to toss it at least has a pretty color to blend in to any room and does a good job of COVERING the crate. Hope this helps>?

This is a product that is pretty much as advertised. The pad is soft and thick. The denim fabric looks nice, although it's pretty thin. It would be nice if the crate drape could be fastened in place, perhaps w/straps across the bottom. The bumper inside doesn't hold up to much tugging and would do better with a more durable fastening system. Notwithstanding those criticisms, if you have a well-behaved dog, I would recommend this product. HOWEVER, If you have a crazy puppy like mine, save your money. My 8 month old Boxer puppy literally destroyed this set within the first day. She shredded the pad and little puffs of fiberfill were all over the place. She pulled the edges of the crate drape cover into the crate and shredded that as much as she could. The bumpers are still intact, but only because I removed them pretty quickly. The shredded crate cover (all that I have left of this set) looks just as bad as the old sheets I was using as a crate cover before! Not a wise purchase on my part.

Ordered two sets in Ivory for each of my dogs, who have 24" wire crates. The quality is excellent, it fits like a glove (though I had initially thought the top cover didn't fit properly until I realized I had it on wrong), and it's soft and plush. Our dogs love it, and it makes us feel better knowing that they're comfortable and cozy while we're at work. One reviewer somewhere said that the stitching on the bumper was of poor quality, but I did not have that problem. Also, another reviewer for another set said that the cover didn't fasten to the crate, but it does. Someone else said indicated that there was a strong odor that went away after washing, and I detected absolutely no odor. I haven't washed the set yet, so I'm not sure how it will hold up in the washing machine, but all in all, this was an excellent purchase. Highly recommended.

I bought two sets, one for the office and one for the bedroom crates; I have a third kennel downstairs that I did not purchase a set for and am going to do so immediately. These are quality sewn items; no fraying, involved. They attach easily and I can still put the divider in the kennel with the bumpers and pad set up. The cover makes a huge difference and my puppy sleeps more easily with the kennels that have the covers. She tries to rip up the kennel without the bedding set. The burgundy color is lovely and not garish, the pink is more of a dusty rose. Well worth the cost for the quality and the full set. I haven't washed the crate pad yet, but I like that it's reversible and cuts down on the need. My puppy really feels secure in her crate with this set. UPDATE: I machine washed and dried the pad this weekend and it came out perfectly.

My wife and I recently got a new puppy. I have had dogs before but this is the first time we decided to crate train one. Before we bought this we had a pad that we bought from petco in the crate and a towel over it. Within a few days or getting our puppy, he apparently got one of his paws stuck in the crate at 3:00 AM and began yelping. It sounded like he was dying. I ordered this the next day. I was impressed with the quality. The pad was so much nicer than the one we had. With the side pads we no longer have to worry about our puppy getting stuck. And the cover that goes over it looks so much better than when we had towels over it. It looks so elegant and comfortable that my wife said if she was 18 inches tall she would love to sleep in it. But it does not matter how much we love it if our puppy does not. Our puppy loves it!!! I highly recommend this if you are crate training.

What does it matter what I say. My dog loves it! When she has had enough of us she retreats into her crate for some chill time. It was worth every penny!

Creates a nice, den-like feel for a new pup or grown dog. Fits well and is well made. Would recommend.

very good quality for the price

Fit well, the bumper was a bit confusing to set up, took me a while. It didn't attach like the picture suggests, and there were no "instructions" so to speak on how to attach it. It seemed like it was way too big for the crate, but after fiddling with it I managed to get it on. I've had it a few weeks and even though my dog chews on it and pulls on it a lot, it's still in good condition. I have attached a photo to show how the bumper attaches. In the product image it suggests that the bumper does not wrap around the whole cage, and instead only wraps around the three sides, however you actually have to overlap a bit on the front for it to fit properly, and even then the pumper is still a tad loose.

Relatively good. The bumper pad on the inside of the crate is too big for the crate, even though the size purchased was the right size for the crate, and sags at the sides and the back. My puppy can easily get a hold of it, tug on it and off it comes. It does the job though and can easily be washed.
