Furniture of america lexington low-poster bed, queen, cherry what size of mattress will fit in this bed?

Hi Rajeshwari, Thank you for your question. The recommended mattress sizes are 81"W x 61"D. We hope this helps. Have a great day!

Does this take a box spring?

It has been a while since we set it up, we do have box springs, so it will take them. Not sure if it can be used without the box spring though. It is a beautiful bed!

Does any part of this bed contain asbestos? I read in one review that it contained asbestos and was made in Vietnam, but I cannot locate the review.

These beds are made in Vietnam by the American Furniture company lol! They are made of solid wood posts, plywood, and the post caps are a heavy plastic resin. These is no asbestos in this bed. I really like my bed except the color. It is sold as Cherry. But the factory sprayed too much finish on it. It is very dark. It appears to be painted black except in direct sunlight.

Does this comes with a mattress and box spring???

Hi, This bed doesn't come with any mattresses or box springs, and it requires a box spring. Thank you
