Good stuff
New to coffee other than Folgers...LOL. This coffee was recommended to me by a friend and it is REALLY good coffee. I bought a Aeropress coffee maker and a bean grinder for Christmas and after 60 years of drinking drip coffee, mostly bottom of the barrel coffee, this was a surprise as to how good "good" coffee tastes. I'm trying different coffees but so far, this is the best I've tasted. Back a few years ago, I bought a Tee shirt with the picture that's on this coffee bag on the front of the shirt because I liked the picture. Little did I realize years later...

This is my second Ravens.. The first was wicked wolf..I like this one better it's still has the dark coffee but the undertones are lighter and better tasting to me..

Snowed in and out of coffee, I ordered Raven’s Brew onLine. I was attracted by the graphics as much as by the value and reviews, and I really needed coffee. This smelled great and robust as soon as the bag was opened. It brewed up to be a great cup of coffee.

More Roasted than expected, too bitter!
For me it was too bitter and with lack of acidity. The flavor wasn't complex. I am not used to buying dark roasted coffees, but this was supposed to be “full city roast” meaning it was just a little bit more roasted than the medium roast! For me this was a very dark roasted coffee! Didn't felt any of the spicy or floral notes described as I expected!
