We recently purchased the Acoustic Foam squares for our kid's game room, and we couldn't be happier with the results! The transformation in the room's acoustics is remarkable. I bought 2 packs as I just moved into a studio apartment. They work as intended, cannot hear my neighbors anymore, great quality foam. They are shipped vacuum sealed and you have to let them sit for 15 minutes or less to expand. They are about 12 inches by 12 inches and maybe an inch and a half thick. Very easy to install, peel off backs. However they do stick quite well, some paint does come off when you peel them off the wall.

Bought this on a whim while adding some features to my office setup. Product arrived timely, although it was delivered to my neighbor, instead of me, even with detailed delivery instructions. It was packaged in a plain cardboard box, with the panels themselves in vacuum sealed plastic bags, albeit one of the two bags had a hole (which turned out to be a blessing, more on that later). After unpacking the panels, the instructions say that they should expand within seconds. They did not. Being impatient, I didn’t want to wait the 24 hours suggested to wait for them to expand. To that end, I misted them lightly with water, and applied a hair dryer to the panels in order to steam the panels slightly and force them to expand. It worked like a charm, though I suggest picking apart the individual layers before doing this, as they won’t want to expand if they’re stuck together. After they all expanded, it was a simple matter of peel-and-stick to apply them to the wall. They work well to absorb sound, and have this-far remained where I put them.

I ordered the 12-pack and when it arrived, I unpacked it and waited for it to expand (which took about 3 hours). I then started sticking it on my walls. The adhesive is already on the back, all you have to do is peel the protective paper off then press it on the surface. The adhesive sticks well. After setting them on my walls, the appearance looks great and when I played audio, I immediately noticed a difference in the sound. There was no more of the 'slight echoing' I was hearing due to the sound frequencies bouncing off the walls. The foam panels is absorbing the sound waves, so the sound is more accurate. Thanx

This is probably one of the worst products I have personally used. Not because of how effective it is or anything like that but how bad these are to clean off your walls. They market having more adhesive as a pro for their product but I would very much disagree. No matter what you use, how water, goo-be-gone, or even alcohol, these are impossible to get off your walls. I doused the wall with goo-be-gone and it still sicks and I literally have to scrape the walls for hours to get them off. Avoid these if you EVER plan to want to take them off the wall.

I received my two 12-packs and they were quite compressed into a thin package for shipping. Thus causes many of the tiles to not recover the original and intended design. Furthermore, what I've received is not the same density as most professional acoustic sound diffuser wall tiles. Rather they seem like a very sparse material such as cheap weatherstripping. But they will diffuse some sound. These do tend to dampen echos generally okay, however they only provide a modest amount of diffusing. Note that these are not sound absorption tiles, as the maximum 2 inches protrusions, plus cheaper material won't act as an absorbtion treatment. They are in fact diffusers. The self stick adhesive is okay, but I recommend attaching a few (2, 4, or 6) tiles to a larger mounting plate/plane such as an art poster board. This allows for moving the tiles around without as much fussing with adhesives down the road.

This stuff is awesome. I was going to purchase a different brand of foam and luckily went to the 'compare' button. I found this as an option. It was the same price as the other acoustic foam I was planning to purchase, but I liked the reviews better. This stuff has sticky all over the back rather than just a couple tabs to hold it up and it certainly stays up great. But it doesn't appear it will damage the walls. I had to rip some foam off and it came off with just a little piece still stuck on the wall, which would easily be scraped off with a paint scraper. It is also very easy to cut. My wall was not exactly perfect size to fit everything without cutting some foam and I have that electrical outlet I had to work around. I cut the foam as needed for those spaces and it looks so gorgeous that I am pretty much gonna croak from it's beauty. I can't really speak to it's sound suppression, but I was able to hear my neighbors watching TV while I was putting my foam up and then that sound got quieter and quieter as I put more foam on until I heard no more neighbor TV through paper-thin walls. Please buy this foam and not another brand!!

I wasn't actually sure how this would work for the application I needed it for. I had a void below and enclosure I made for my custom car audio. It was too small to install Dynamite correctly, no room to actually apply any kind of pressure for rolling it on. So I did some research and found this on Amazon, thought why not give it a try. When I received it, the adhesive is very tacky so I knew with my limited amount of room I should still be able to apply enough pressure to get it to adhere to the truck. I was not wrong! I completely filled in the entire gap, it is very dense now and has no sound echoing in that little void area at all! Very pleased! I look forward to finding what other applications I can use this on in the future! Great price for a great product! Gotta love it!

El producto llegó en tiempo y forma, el producto correspondía a la descripción del vendedor, el material era de una calidad buena y el adhesivo se adhirió bien a la superficie (en este caso muro de yeso), uno de los puntos negativos del producto quizá sea la densidad, pues son un poco delgados considerando que uno de sus principales usos el servir de material acústico aislante. En mi caso los utilice de manera decorativa, no he realizado mediciones de acústica mediante calibración para obtener una respuesta de las frecuencias que estos paneles absorben, más sin embargo he notado una reducción en las frecuencias altas (agudos) según la respuesta de la sala esto podría afectar en el proceso de mezcla musical, por lo que no los recomiendo para acondicionamiento acústico pues esto lejos de mejorar la respuesta de la sala podría afectar el resultado en la mezcla, como decoración son visualmente atractivos pero hasta ahí le veo utilidad. Con respecto al precio si considero que son un poco costosos pues considero que son meramente decorativos , podrían ser más claro con la descripción del producto pues creo que es importante mencionar que no cubren todas las frecuencias más importantes llegando así a crear en taponamiento acústico. En resumen: son costos, no sirven para acondicionamiento acústico son más decorativos.

Although I’m sure it’ll do the same job roughly that a more rigid panel would’ve, their shape is some less consistent than I expected

The items are very soft as opposed to advertised as dense foam.. It did not made any difference in my listening environment, made it worst instead, as now sounds moves uneven across my listening room.. Very disappointed..
